NeNe Leakes is returning to Bravo.
Nearly six years after she was last featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and nearly four years after she sued Bravo, NBCUniversal, and its production companies, accusing them of fostering a racist and hostile work environment, Nene, 58, is set to star in a spinoff of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which has been tentatively titled Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.
According to a January 13 report from TMZ, Nene will not be featured on the new series as a full-time cast member, but she will reportedly be seen during the show’s stop in Atlanta.
The outlet also stated that there would be numerous cameos from different housewives throughout the road trip.
As Real Housewives fans may recall, Andy Cohen, 57, announced RHURT at BravoCon in November.
“Ultimate Girls Trip is back, and it’s on Bravo coming in 2026. It’s The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, celebrating 20 years of the Real Housewives. We will have iconic housewives taking the road trip of a lifetime to the housewives’ cities where they will be joined by iconic housewives, past and present, from the span of two decades. It’s going to rock your world,” he teased.

When rumors first began swirling in regard to Nene’s role on RHURT, it was revealed that Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson, 63, would also be filming.
During an appearance on The Viall Files in December, she shared, “I’m going on the girls’ trip January 18 through the end of January.”
Around the same time, sources told the MCFP (Mary Cosby Fan Page) on X that four people had been confirmed, including Vicki, Kyle Richards, 57, Gizelle Bryant, 55, and Teresa Giudice, 53, and that Kim Zolciak, 47, Karen Huger, 62, Meredith Marks, 54, and Luann de Lesseps, 60, had also been asked.
Nene’s lawsuit was dropped in August 2022, when both sides agreed to settle the matter in arbitration.
