Lisa Rinna is backtracking after her “stalker” comment about Colton Underwood led to the former Bachelor star receiving death threats.
After Colton, 33, accused Lisa, 62, of being a “traitor” on The Traitors, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum gave a nod to his past restraining order drama with ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph, 30, in a post shared on Friday before ultimately stepping back and encouraging viewers of the series to “be gentle.”
“This is who Colton thinks he’s slick up against? GOOD LUCK BUDDY,” a fan had written on Threads last week, along with a screenshot from a season seven scene from RHOBH in which she asked Dorit Kemsley, 49, “Were people doing coke in your bathroom?”
“Let’s talk about you being a stalker….” Lisa wrote in response on January 23.

One day later, Lisa surfaced on her Instagram Story, where she requested kindness from fans.
“It’s come to my attention that my post that I responded to in my housewife mode is taking on a life of its own, and it’s causing real problems for Colton,” she began on January 24. “And I do not want this because Colton and I are great. He was a great and is a great nemesis for me on the show, in the game.”
“Now, as you know, if you asked me to be a housewife, I’ll bring it to you, right? That’s what I was doing, all in the name of the game. But, just so you know, I am totally great with Colton. I’ve been texting with him. We talk. Everything is great,” she continued. “The fact that the backlash is happening, I feel horrible about because I don’t want to hurt anybody. I’m here to play the game and have fun … And we had so much fun. I’ve only always had a great time with [Colton]. So, please, guys, be gentle. It’s a game, it’s a TV show. We’re all doing the best we can. Don’t send death threats or do anything to jeopardize somebody’s family.”
“Everyone, take a deep breath, and just know that everything is great. It’s a game. Try to watch it like a sporting event and just be gentle,” she added, as seen in a reshare from The Bravo Investigator on Instagram.

Around the same time, the official Traitors page on Instagram shared a statement regarding the harsh words fans were sending to Colton.
“We are committed to making our cast feel safe, respected, and supported — on screen and off. The cast of The Traitors are real people, and what happens in the game should never lead to cyberbullying or harassment. There’s a difference between discussing a show and targeting individuals. Let’s not ruin the passion for this show with unwarranted negativity and personal attacks. We appreciate your support,” it stated.
As fans may recall, Colton was hit with a restraining order from Cassie in September 2020, months after they split, which accused him of sending “unsettling” text messages and potentially planting a tracking device in her car. However, the request was dropped before the year’s end.
