Amanda Batula appeared on Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she shed new light on her recent split from Kyle Cooke.
While revealing details about the timeline of the breakup, if they had a prenup, if she felt she deserved a portion of Loverboy, and more, the 34-year-old Summer House star discussed dating, Paige DeSorbo‘s absence from season 10, a potential reconciliation with Hannah Berner, 34, and Kyle’s DJ career.
“[We’ve been living separately] since October or November, just before [BravoCon],” Amanda shared on the February 3 episode of WWHL.
According to Amanda, there wasn’t one final straw that broke the camel’s back when it came to her split from Kyle, 43, and the two of them still talk “multiple times a week” as they continue to co-parent their two dogs.
“We’re sharing the dogs right now. We each have one; when we travel, we have both,” she shared. “They’re really enjoying being separated and then like, coming back together. They’re littermates, they’re sisters. They would get into little fights, so they need time apart … it’s working for right now, and that’s all that matters. I just want the dogs to be happy. I would take both if they were happier together.”
As for whether she and Kyle had a prenup, they did not, which Amanda regrets.
“Everybody needs a prenup … we’re gonna be fine, but still, it could’ve not been fine,” she noted, denying that she felt she deserved a portion of Loverboy.
“That’s his baby. That’s his bread and butter. That man’s worked harder on that business than he did [on] our relationship. So, I’m okay not,” she reasoned.
Despite their breakup, Amanda said she and Kyle were doing “great.”
“We just had our premiere party, he, like, gave me a very sentimental shoutout. He had a lot of people in tears. There’s a lot of love still there,” she confirmed.
Then, after revealing that the thing she missed most about Kyle was “him answering [her] emails for [her],” Amanda suspected she would be the one to start dating first, as she seemingly shut down the possibility of getting back together.
“It could happen, it could not. Right now, probably not,” she stated.
After admitting Kyle was a “good” DJ but confirming that she wasn’t “fully supportive” of the venture, Amanda was asked if she’d heard from Hannah since the breakup.
“I have not, but that’s not … her business. Like that’s not her problem. She’s living her life,” Amanda stated, adding, “I’m very open to [reconciling].”
Moving on to Paige, 33, Amanda said her former co-star was “very supportive” and had her back amid her split before sharing what she didn’t miss about having Paige in the house.
“She was always ready on Sunday morning, fully dressed and fully packed before, like, I feel like I even woke up to go home, and it gave me so much anxiety,” she admitted.
Also on the live broadcast, Amanda confirmed she was not open to considering a potential romance with one of her castmates.
“No. Listen, I love the boys. [But] not in that way,” she explained.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Amanda was asked if she’d stayed in touch with Lexi Wood, 27, following her Summer House exit, and if she knew anything about the Beckham family drama due to Lexi’s past romance with Brooklyn Beckham, 26.
“No, we haven’t stayed in touch too much, and I have not asked her about the drama,” she replied. “She wouldn’t really talk about her relationship with him, even before all the drama. She was very chill about it.”
Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
