RHOBH's Dorit Kemsley Wonders "What the F*ck" is Wrong With Kyle, Recalls Refusing to Take Amanda's "Bait" as Boz Claims Amanda of Having No Backbone and Rest of Cast Accuses Her of "Deflection"

Dorit Kemsley looked back on her latest feud with Amanda Frances after Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, taking aim at the behavior of her former friendKyle Richards.

As Dorit, 49, explained her decision to refrain from taking Amanda’s “bait” and Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, wondered if Amanda, 41, had a backbone, the rest of the cast suggested Amanda was being strategic as they called her out for deflecting, and Kyle, 57, and Erika Jayne, 54, came to her defense.

“When Dorit heard what Amanda had said, Amanda needed to own up to it. But instead, she wanna be out here throwing it four shades to the wind, Kyle said it, this person said it, she’s just agreeing, and I’m like, ‘Girl, do you have a backbone or not?’” Boz wondered on the February 5 episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

As RHOBH fans will recall, Amanda and Kyle discussed Dorit’s public bad-mouthing of her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58. But when confronted, the cast felt that Amanda didn’t take responsibility for her part.

“It felt like [Amanda] got off so light,” Jennifer Tilly, 67, noted.

“Because Amanda was very good at what she did,” Sutton Stracke, 54, replied as Jennifer signaled their castmate’s “deflection” and Kathy Hilton, 66, agreed that “they all fell for it.”

During their tiff, Dorit said she was unwilling to allow Amanda to put everything on Kyle.

“I was not taking the bait. I kept going back to Amanda. I kept saying, ‘I’ll deal with Kyle,’” she shared.

Ultimately, however, Dorit grew frustrated with what Kyle was saying behind her back.

“[It was] annoying to hear Kyle, when I’m not even there, saying her opinion that I shouldn’t be talking about or bashing the father of my children. What the f*ck is wrong with you? Like, honestly, what the f*ck is wrong with you?” she wondered. “Truly.”

According to Dorit, she believed that if the situation were reversed, Kyle would be upset with her, too.

“Kyle claims to care about my kids, and so on, she also talks like she knows PK, like she knows the ins and outs, which PK is a brilliant storyteller, and I know Kyle, I know the kind of friend Kyle is. You know, they say, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck … it looks like a duck. Period.”

After growing angrier with Kyle, Dorit felt that Amanda was “beyond delighted” with their divide.

Meanwhile, Kyle said that while it is understandable that some cast members felt Amanda should have taken ownership rather than signaling to her, she “wasn’t offended.”

“They wanted me to be [offended], I think, but I wasn’t,” she stated.

“Because you knew the whole story, and you knew my heart, and you knew what happened in the order it happened in, and the order it happened made sense,” Amanda replied. “It made sense that I had lunch with her, and then I saw you at your house, and then I was at Kathy’s. When you look at how it happened, I wasn’t on a rampage against Dorit. I wasn’t talking bad about her. I heard something from you that gave me more context, and that context informed what I said.”

Overall, Kyle said that when it came to Amanda agreeing with her sentiments, she wasn’t the only co-star who did.

“The entire group agreed with what I was saying. There was nobody that could hear this and say, ‘It actually is a good idea to talk like this, because this will actually help you in the future,'” she noted.

Also on the RHOBH: After ShowRachel Zoe, 54, said that Amanda was basically saying she didn’t say anything, and that she only agreed with Kyle.

“Then that means you said it, too,” Erika reasoned.

Still, when it came to the drama Amanda caused between Dorit and Kyle, who were already at odds, Erika didn’t believe it was intentional.

“I don’t think she was necessarily trying to be some mastermind and f*ck them up. I think she was just looking for support,” she explained.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
