Christine Quinn is in talks to return to Selling Sunset for its potential 10th season.
As she also spoke of her role on House of Villains season three, Christine, 37, admitted to being in talks with production as she described her possible comeback as “iconic,” reflected on her “horrible” marriage to Christian Richard, and confirmed that he is “not at all” involved with their son.
“Those conversations kind of happen every year, and there’s interest every year, but I feel like this year was different,” Christine teased during a February 23 interview with Entertainment Tonight.
According to Christine, she got redemption in the eyes of many viewers amid season nine.
“There was a lot of fan feedback in terms of, ‘Oh my gosh, we’re rewatching this. Christine was right. What were we thinking? I owe Christine an apology. This is crazy,’” she shared. “A lot of people were going back and watching from season one on, and so I feel like the fan flare-up was something like I’ve never seen before. The overwhelming support was crazy to see.”
While Christine couldn’t say for sure whether her potential return would happen, she noted that she was “in talks with them every year.”
“[But] I live in Texas … I’m from Texas so I love it, and I love being around family, but who knows?” she continued. “I think it would be really iconic. Never say never, right?”
Looking back at the fallout from her marriage to Christian, which saw police being called to their Los Angeles home on a number of occasions and accusations of abuse being made, Christine admitted that Christian wasn’t supportive and added that her life “came tumbling down.”
“I really took a step back and started to evaluate what was important to me and being in healthy relationships was important. I was in a horrible relationship that cost me everything, [but] it gave me time, which I’m grateful for, to reevaluate my life and spend time with my son and realize what I do want and what I do want is to come back in the spotlight and be on television,” she revealed.
Then, after being asked if Christian was involved in her life, Christine confirmed, “Not at all.”
“I have full custody of my son. He’s never paid a dollar in child support, alimony, lawyer fees, I’ve never seen a dollar from him, and he has no interest in his son,” she shared. “He’s living in another country and ignores everything, and it’s really sad, but in a way, I’m grateful [for the] freedom.”
Moving on to House of Villains, Christine admitted she “absolutely [loved]” the villain label.
“It’s fun … However, going into House of Villains, I wanted to show a different side of myself. I wanted to be more vulnerable, and I wanted people to see, I don’t always wear makeup, and I’m not always perfect, and I don’t always have these snappy one-liners,” she said. “I’m a hot mess. I’m just like everyone else, just with longer extensions and bigger boobs, maybe. I’m pretty down to earth.”
House of Villains season three begins streaming on February 26 on Peacock.
