Dorit Kemsley is facing foreclosure on her $6.5 million home in Encino, California.
According to a new report, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who has remained in the home since separating from Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58, in May 2024, has accrued a $842,000 debt to two lenders, who are coming after her for repayment as fans blame the past due amount on her alleged “shopping addiction.”
On March 10, Radar Online revealed that Dorit’s six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home, which she and PK bought in August 2019 and put on the market one year later, was in pre-foreclosure for a second time, noting that the now-ex-couple used a number of unconventional lenders to make the purchase.
In a default notice filed on January 21, Tanka LLC and Private Money Solutions, which loaned $600,000 and $150,000, respectively, stated that Dorit owed $842,376, including interest, after defaulting on the loans, and noted that she hadn’t made a payment on the loans since September 2025.
If Dorit doesn’t sort out the past-due balance, the companies could push her home into foreclosure — before so much as a court appearance.
Radar Online also noted that a default notice had been filed in December 2025 by Prime Recon LLC, who reportedly held a $5,196,750 mortage on Dorit’s behalf, and said she had missed $294,321 worth of payments that year, including interest.
While it is unknown whether or not Dorit got caught up on that mortgage loan, her spending habits have been a hot topic on recent episodes of RHOBH, one of which saw her credit card being declined during a group trip to the Hamptons.
“Spending over $4K on clothes in one sitting is wildly irresponsible, especially when her first card was declined!” one person wrote on social media after the episode aired.
“Dorit is a shopping addict. Anyone who buys 4K worth of tacky trash in 20 minutes is an addict and cannot stop shopping. Her house is in foreclosure, and they lack the money to pay their debts. She is mentally ill and needs to get professional help,” another agreed.
“I think Dorit is going to end up living in a very tiny apartment soon – seeing as PK has no money and she can’t manage money very well,” suspected a third.
