West Wilson appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he set the record straight about the nature of his relationship with Amanda Batula and addressed her messy moment with Kyle Cooke on the latest episode of Summer House.

As he also commented on claims Kyle, 43, cheated, shared how he and Amanda, 34, have changed since their separation, and reflected on the cast’s discussion about race, West, 31, reacted to Lindsay Hubbard, 39, shading Dara Levitan, 33, revealed which Real Housewives star recently hit on him, shared his thoughts on his evolving relationship with Ciara Miller, 30, and more.

“She’s single now, and it’s happened already to other people that she’s hung out with,” West said of Amanda on the March 24 episode of WWHL. “We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I gotta show her the streets a little bit. But if it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend.”

During Tuesday’s Summer House, West was seen intervening for Amanda amid a fight with Kyle, who had lashed out against her, slamming her as a “dumb a** b*tch.”

“Typically, at least with couples, I feel like there’s always things that you weren’t privy to before, so you just kind of stay out of it. But that one, I felt like I was there in the moment that it took off, and it was just unjustified, so I felt like it was my place,” he explained.

Then, noting that Kyle’s words made him “uncomfortable,” West recalled telling Kyle to apologize.

“I just, that’s where you start. Say sorry and then figure it out,” he shared.

According to West, he didn’t think Amanda or Kyle was working too hard on their marriage in the months leading up to their breakup. However, he also stated that he believed Kyle’s suggestion that the women he’d been linked to in recent years were just friends.

As for how Amanda and Kyle have changed since announcing they were parting ways, West signaled a “lightness.”

“I think they both feel lighter, so I think that it’s better,” he explained.

Looking back at the discussion the cast had about race, West applauded his production team.

“[That conversation] doesn’t happen without a diverse crew that we have to make sure everyone’s ready to roll and that the conversations are, everyone felt safe in that moment as well, and we have a very diverse crew and producers, and they’re so important and so impactful,” he shared.

After being asked about Lindsay suggesting Dara was out for fame while KJ Dillard, 28, was out for love, West defended his former flame and confirmed she and KJ have “great chemistry.”

“I don’t like the Dara, there for fame, discourse. I invited her, so I’m in the best place to kind of defend her. I said, ‘Come to the house, it would be fun,’ and she did … It’s not as deep as everyone made it out to be, per the usual.”

Also on the live broadcast, West revealed Bronwyn Newport, 40, had hit on him at the Super Bowl earlier this year.

“She called me … We just talked on the phone for a little bit, but we were both out at different places. It felt a little flirty,” he said, adding, “Bronwyn’s dope.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, West was asked if he was worried about hurting Ciara as he pushed for them to get to a better place.

“I think the pushing you’re seeing is just wanting to be friends and be cordial in the house and get along like we’re used to, and being comfortable,” he replied. “I’ve learned a significant amount throughout our time as friends and foes, and I think you’ll see it play out more as summer wraps up.”

Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
