Carl Radke reacted to the recent reveal of West Wilson and Amanda Batula‘s romance with a statement shared on Monday.
Nearly a week after his Summer House castmates confirmed they’d developed feelings for one another behind the backs of West’s former flame, Ciara Miller, 30, and Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, 43, Carl admitted to being “crushed” for Ciara, who had reportedly been rekindling things with West, 31, weeks before the shocking confirmation.
“We’re all confused and crushed for C. It’s insane to be honest. But I still can’t get over K’s street interview holding dog poop whilst saying, ‘I’m a mess.’ Hopefully some of this insanity can bring a little light to a really sad situation,” Carl, 41, said in a statement to Cici Loves You on Instagram.
Around the time of his statement, Carl confirmed he was back in production, although he didn’t say on what.
In a photo posted to his Instagram Story on Monday, Carl was seen standing in front of a green screen, seemingly suggesting he was filming a confessional for Summer House.
Before Carl’s statement, he and his former fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, 39, were featured alongside one another in a commercial for Uber Eats in which they gave a nod to his past suggestion that she be “softer” in their relationship while reacting to West and Amanda’s scandal.
As fans may have seen, Lindsay shared a clip of the ad on Instagram, writing, “Can confirm, Carl is A MESS,” in the caption. Meanwhile, in the accompanying video, after Carl sobbed, “Oh my God,” Lindsay handed him a tissue and asked, “Is it soft enough for you?”
