Kyle Cooke spoke out on Threads after watching Tuesday’s episode of Summer House, which featured his then-wife, Amanda Batula, getting quite cozy with West Wilson on a pool lounger before encouraging him to check out her butt.
Months before Kyle, 43, confirmed his separation from Amanda, 34, and before Amanda and West, 31, admitted to a secret romance, Amanda and West acted questionably with one another, despite his interest in Amanda’s then-best friend, Ciara Miller, 30, and others, which led Kyle and Lindsay Hubbard, 39, to weigh in on social media after the show aired.
“I’ve watched some hard to re-live moments over the last 10 years … I’ve also seen things unfold as a viewer that I wasn’t privy to as a cast member … Last night’s episode? WTF,” Kyle wrote on Threads on April 15.
A short time later, after Best of Bravo on Instagram shared Kyle’s reaction, Lindsay responded to it, writing, “Kyle is all of us watching whatever that was…”
At the end of March, following weeks of rumors suggesting they were secretly hooking up, Amanda and West confirmed that they had, in fact, caught feelings for one another in a joint statement.
“It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” they wrote on Instagram. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
