Amanda Batula was just called out by a small business owner on Instagram.
Amid the ongoing backlash she’s received due to her controversial romance with West Wilson, 31, the 34-year-old Summer House star has seemingly been caught lying about a product she didn’t promote after being caught using it after suggesting it never arrived.
“So weird I was told these custom mugs never arrived….turns out they saw more tea than a Hamptons summer,” Elizabeth Kroberger Thomas, of EKT Designs, wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on April 20, deeming herself Team Ciara as she said, “At least we made it to [Us Weekly].”
Along with a couple of photos of the custom mugs of the two dogs that Amanda shares with estranged husband Kyle Cooke, 43, Elizabeth included a screenshot of an interview Amanda did with Us Weekly, during which she was seen sipping from one of the cups.

In the January 2026 interview with Us Weekly, Amanda spoke of Ciara Miller, 30, and her complicated relationship with West, whom she’d dated a couple of seasons prior, while promoting season 10.

As the interview clip came to an end, Amanda picked up the mug and took a sip.
After making her claims against Amanda, Elizabeth shared an additional statement on her Instagram Story, noting that they’d worked together in the past.
“For clarity — early on, I sent Amanda some free pieces and her repost was great exposure, she was so supportive which meant a lot as a small business,” she began.
But things ultimately took a turn between Elizabeth and Amanda.
“About a year later, we chatted and I sent wheel thrown, hand-painted mugs — I truly love making them especially when I feel like it’s appreciated! She said they never arrived, and after that communication fully dropped off — I followed up a few times and even offered to resend but heard nothing,” she explained. “Yesterday, I was sent a video of her using those mugs in a live interview from January … When you’re a small business, that time, effort, and cost really matters! It’s all good and that being said, [Team Ciara].”
