Zack Wickham spoke of his drama with Janet Caperna on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live.
As he also commented on the postpartum struggles of both Kristen Doute, 43, and Luke Broderick, and Nia, 36, and Danny Booko, 42, revealed if he was in touch with Jax Taylor, 46, and shared his thoughts on the future of Tom Schwartz, 43, and Kiana Carroll, 27, Zack admitted to sharing “problematic” messages with Chanel Ayan, 47, and expressed interest in Katie Ginella, 41, joining The Valley.
“I was a little shocked,” Zack said on the May 6 episode of WWHL after being asked about Janet joking that they were best friends.
As for whether he’d seen actions over words from his castmate, Zack said, “You will see the rest of the season play out, and I’ll just let you be the deciding voice of if that was what she did or did not do.”
He then suggested during a game that Janet should silence the voices in her head.
“I think that Janet should, you know what, this would be advantageous to her and to me if she would just trim those voices from her head, I think we’d be better,” he reasoned.
Moving on to Kristen and Luke, Zack said that as someone who’s close to them both, he wants the best for them.
“Do I think he always handles things the best way? Clearly not. I think he’s trying the best he can, and I just try to give him the best advice I can to get them on the same page,” he explained.
Regarding Nia and Danny’s struggles, Zack defended their tense scenes.
“When you catch a couple in those little nitpicky moments, it’s never gonna come off good. Obviously, it wasn’t the best portrayal of him. I know that there are good sides too, but it wasn’t the best moments,” he noted, adding that Danny “really needs to trim when he’s in those toxic male behavior moments.”
Zack also shared what Brittany Cartwright, 37, needed to trim from her life.
“[She] already trimmed the boyfriend from her life, so now I don’t have to worry about that anymore. But I would say for Brittany, besides the boyfriend, maybe if she just trimmed a couple of friendships that aren’t mine or Kristen’s, we’d be great,” he suggested.
After confirming that he “[does] not” speak to Jax any longer, Zack said he felt that Tom and Kiana were end game.
“They match each other’s energy. They match each other’s maturity level, everything. I think they’re actually really well suited,” he shared.
Also on the live broadcast, Zack recalled hitting it off with Chanel at BravoCon.
“She was the absolute nicest person. She and I really connected,” he gushed. “I always say this, if our voice notes or DMs ever leaked, it’d be problematic … um, so just certain, you know what, never mind. Gretchen. She just, I was not about it. She tried to come up to me, and I was like, ‘Girl, you can stop right there.’ And I walked off. And I don’t mean that in a mean way, but I do.”
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Zack revealed who he’d kick off his show and replace with another Bravolebrity.
“This is gonna be a little controversial. I’m gonna say, if I could swap, unfortunately, sorry, Janet, for Katie Ginella,” he shared. “Katie and I have become really good friends. I feel like she, you know, maybe got, you know, some misunderstandings with whatever. But I think she would be so much fun on our cast.”
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
