Lisa Barlow reacted to a rumor suggesting that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast’s season seven contracts included a mega-clause to prevent leaks while attending an event on Monday night.

As she also addressed comparisons to Alicia Carmody, 41, shared her thoughts on the debut season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and confirmed she has a new song coming soon, Lisa, 51, teased the upcoming seventh season, and admitted she was tired of the ongoing rumors about cast leaks.

“I think, like, you should just naturally follow that rule. And I’m pretty sure I did not sign a contract that says that,” Lisa shared of the clause report during a May 25 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “You should just live that way, and I think the salacious rumors or that like, repeat thing of like, ‘She’s the source,’ or they’re leaking stuff, it’s gotta end. It’s been six years of it. Yawn. It’s so boring. They would’ve already exposed everybody and anybody.”

Also, of RHOSLC, Lisa gushed over her love for the city.

“I always say she’s that girl … And the city has always been the star [of the show]. It’s such a magical city. It’s an underground treasure. I think we’ve exposed it, but she’s amazing,” she declared.

Moving on to Alicia and RHORI, Lisa said, “I’m constantly tagged in memes with Alicia, and I love her. I see so many similarities. I did get to meet her while I was on [Ultimate Girls Trip]. And just the way they organically interact, it is magic. As a fellow born and bred East Coast girl, I get [the RHORI cast]. I love them. I think it’s the best new franchise.”

Then, after revealing she had “a new song coming out” that “surprised everybody” amid filming on season seven, Lisa spoke to Us Weekly about the cast’s future episodes.

“This season feels so different. It’s so fresh. It’s so different than the last six, everything about it,” she stated. “You’ll get an inside look at each of us more as individuals and less in the group dynamic, where the last four seasons have been all about the group. I think we were lacking who we are, what makes us who we are at home, and that’s why we come into the group a certain way. So I think you’re gonna get a lot more of that, and so much change. I think it’s the layers. I have wanted more layers to show the depth and dimension to all of us over the last six years, and you’re gonna see more of that.”

“I feel like I’m always raw, and I don’t know if it always makes it to the show, and I think this year you’re gonna see who my family is, who I am, like, what makes me me. There’s so much more than just me in the friend group, and I think you’re gonna see a lot more of that,” she added.
