West Wilson offered an update on his relationships with Kyle Cooke and Jesse Solomon on his podcast on Monday.

As he also confirmed that he and Kyle, 43, filmed an hours-long sit-down, reflected on the events of the Summer House reunion, and denied that he and Amanda Batula, 34, began their romance last summer, West, 31, spoke of apologizing to his castmates and admitted to steering clear of social media.

“I’m not gonna say it’s good. Like, nothing’s perfect right now. But we talked for like three hours on Wednesday,” West said of himself and Kyle on the May 25 episode of Show Me Something. “We filmed a scene.”

While West noted that he wasn’t sure if the footage was for Summer House or In the City, he confirmed that it was he who offered to have a discussion with Kyle on camera.

“I was like, ‘Dude, I’m not trying to like get to a better place with you for this f*cking show. I do care about you as a friend, and this doesn’t need to be filmed.’ But Kyle was like, ‘This all happened. Our lives have been on camera. Might as well just film it.’ And I’m glad we did,” he shared. “It was obviously awkward and weird to start, but I think we made a lot of progress, and it was not a gunfight. It was very calm and peaceful, and trying to hear each other and get to a better place.”

“I really appreciate him doing that, one, hearing me out. Two, being nice about it, and then three, hopefully ending on that note will probably be better for me because it was a much better environment to talk about everything than the reunion was,” he continued.

West then said he hoped Kyle was in a better place.

“He’s in a situation now that’s like f*cking so bizarre, and I’m half the reason he’s in it, but I do think there’s greener grass for him moving forward,” he stated.

Moving on to his relationship with Jesse, 32, West said he’d been “really good” about checking in on him.

“He’s not by any means being an enabler or choosing Amanda’s side or my side, but he cares about both of us and is still a friend,” he revealed. “It’s one of those things where, like, I don’t want to force it, but he’s been a good friend, I would say, throughout all of this, so I appreciate him.”

Looking back on the reunion, which was filmed last month, West suggested he didn’t feel heard.

“It was hard to finish most of my thoughts, but the main one was just that anything was happening during the summer, cuz everyone watches that back now and is like, ‘They’re all over each other. Blah, blah, blah.’ [But] I do think we made it clear that that wasn’t happening. Everything else … reunions are kind of up for interpretation, but I mostly just tried to apologize, and you hope it comes across, but I’m not known to be a strong reunion player, so, you know, you just gotta get through it,” he explained.

Then admitting that “other people [were] hurt because of what [he’d] done,” West said he was “hands off” at the taping at times.

“That reunion, I didn’t feel like there was gonna be a whole lot of genuine discourse. I think it was because [it was our] first time together. Everyone’s emotions were really heightened, and I wasn’t really there to, like, prove any points. It was just to be, like, ‘I’m sorry,’” he noted. “It’s just a shitty situation … but the reunion is also a good chance for everyone to get it out of their system, and then everything can be a little more cordial after.”

Continuing on, West said that he “really, really, really” regretted lying about his relationship with Amanda.

“Because now, no matter what happens or what I say, I have not a lot of ground to stand on,” he explained. “It’s harder to say, ‘That’s not true.’”

Also on his podcast, after saying that while he ended the season on a high note, and adding that the reunion was “quite the opposite,” West said he was “not posting [on social media] these days.”

“The worst part about this is my f*cking Summer House B-roll is so good, and it’s gonna die. I usually post all the behind-the-scenes from the parties and sh*t, and now, it just is gonna go nowhere,” he stated.

The Summer House season 10 reunion begins airing tonight, May 26, at 8/7c on Bravo.
