Candiace Dillard-Bassett looked back on a “very dry” encounter she had with Ciara Miller at Saturday night’s 2026 Las Culturistas Culture Awards on Wednesday’s episode of her shared podcast with Michael Arceneaux.
As she also commented on Mia Calabrese‘s performance at the Summer House reunion, where she and her castmates confronted Amanda Batula, 34, and West Wilson, 31, about their controversial romance, the 39-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac alum admitted that while she was excited to meet Ciara, 30, Ciara didn’t seem thrilled to meet her.
“I got to meet Ciara and Mia on the carpet … So that was fun,” Candiace began on the June 3 episode of Undomesticated, via No Chaser TV.
According to Candiace, her interaction with Ciara was “interesting.”
“I don’t know if she was just not in the mood, or maybe we have beef. Have I said something to offend her?” she wondered.
“[Ciara] was very dry with me. I don’t know if she was that way with everybody else, but she was very much like, ‘Okay.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just think you are killing it, and you did what you had to do at the reunion. Yes, girl.’ She was just like, ‘Okay. Yeah,’” Candiace continued.

Then, saying she was “sorry” if she’d said “anything harsh,” Candiace confirmed she was “one thousand percent” rooting for Ciara to succeed post-Scamanda.
Despite the icy encounter, Candiace said it was “nice” to see Ciara, and she added that she “looked amazing.”
“She is like most people. People say this to me all the time: ‘You’re so small. You’re so much smaller.’ And I’m like, ‘Really?’ I’ve always known that I’m petite. But I thought Ciara was taller. I had on a heel, but I was almost taller than her. I just thought she was like, bigger. She’s really petite. She’s tall. But she’s just petite,” Candiace revealed. “The camera adds 10 pounds. She’s not fat, but she seemed to have more mass on camera. In person, she’s very petite. She’s a petite girl.”
Looking back at the comments she made about the Summer House drama Ciara went through with West, Candiace clarified that any tough love she gave her was only out of allegiance.
“It’s a little tough love, but it comes from but it comes from a place of ‘we will cuss the people out for you,’” she explained.
As for Mia, 34, Candiace applauded her reunion faces.
“The faces that Mia was making on the couch in the clips I’ve seen of the reunion, like, hilarious. She’s like the friend we all need,” she stated. “She was like, ‘I was trying not to make any faces.’ I was like, ‘No. Make all the faces. We need you to make those faces.’”
