Kelsey Swanson confirmed when The Real Housewives of Rhode Island would start filming during an interview earlier this week in Miami.
As she also offered an update on where she stands with Ashley Iaconetti, 38, revealed she went to Paige DeSorbo, 33, for career advice, and teased what was to come on the upcoming reunion, Kelsey, 32, accused Rosie DiMare, 35, of making “slanderous” statements against her and shared her thoughts on her sophomore season.
“We film season two in a couple of weeks — actually, probably like a month. And that will be my entire summer until probably the end of September, so until then I’m just like a one-track mind and show only,” Kelsey told Content Condo Miami on June 3. “I already did it once, so now the second time is gonna be easier, I hope.”
She then joked that it might be worse before adding, “I’m gonna pretend that it’s gonna be good. Everything’s gonna be fine.”

During a second interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Kelsey clarified her comments about Ashley seemingly ignoring her messages and not wanting to hang out with the cast.
“I thought that she had responded less than she actually did. And I think it was more so of like, I was expecting her to like, want to be around more, but I’m not mad at her and I love Ashley,” she stated.
After admitting that her rookie season was “better than expected,” Kelsey revealed she spoke to Paige.
“I did talk to Paige DeSorbo a little bit, actually, I think after I filmed, just to get some like, advice on what I should do next, and like, get some management, agents, and see just what the right thing to do is,” she explained, adding, “I love her.”
Looking back on the reunion, Kelsey said it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be.
“I thought I was going to walk into World War 3, and it came out better than expected, so I was happy about it,” she revealed.
As for her mindset going in, Kelsey mentioned Rosie.
“I wanted to clear things up with Rosie and the things she was saying, which were pretty slanderous on the internet, but other than that, I feel like I got that done,” she noted.

Also during the interview, Kelsey teased her reunion look, saying, “What I have on is different from what everyone else has on. So I definitely stand out in that way, color-wise and style-wise.”
