We thought part three of the Summer House reunion would conclude the madness of the Amanda Batula and West Wilson whirlwind relationship. But it actually provides zero clarity, other than West acknowledging he’s terrible with women and Amanda claiming she never cheated on Kyle.
And although they have talked about the seriousness of their relationship (despite West having a girlfriend), Amanda and West have yet to drop the L bomb. The big question is, though, after knowing all that she knows about West now, why would Amanda stay with him?
As the lunch break wraps up, Ciara promises that she will be texting Meija Moreno, West’s ex (This title is still unclear and varies with who you ask). Before everyone comes back to the set, Bailey asks Amanda to come sit with her. Bailey explains that she is worried about Amanda and states that she does not trust West at all. Amanda claims “maybe this will be a huge mistake” and that “it’s hard to explain herself when no one will listen.” Really thought THIS one through…
Andy wants to “leave it all on the table” and asks West how things got to where they are today with Amanda. West explains that they started going out a lot in February and March, since he shares mutual friends with Amanda. He loved seeing Amanda having fun and it was “special” that he was able to see her be so happy. From there, they started spending more time together.
Amanda adds that there was a night that West stated, “am I crazy? Is there something here?” However, Amanda and West deny having any sort of affair this summer, although it’s hard to believe them considering all that they have lied about. Ciara calls the duo calculated.
Mia says that after watching the last few episodes she felt as though something definitely happened over the summer, especially after the Kyle and Carl fight. Amanda ran into West’s arms and cried as he kissed her on the head. Weird. Another time that same night West grabbed Amanda near her breast. Weird, again.
Mia explains that they all looked at Amanda as the victim and West states he did not have a crush on her at the time. Amanda claims it’s frustrating, as she is not a cheater, but Lindsay wonders if there was an emotional affair that was developing.
West finally admits that he DID become closer with Amanda this summer, which might explain why when Amanda yelled at West (to allegedly protect Ciara?) it now looks like she was simply jealous of West’s flirty behavior with another girl.
Kyle wonders about the timeline. It was only two weeks from when they split to the Super Bowl and one of West’s close friends, Brianna “Chickenfry,” said that West told her he was already a thing with Amanda. Kyle has even been DMed that West and Amanda have gone back as far as 2025. They both promise that there was NO affair, emotional or physical, before the statement.
Mia muses if Amanda and West came forward due to the speculation rather than fear of hurting her friendship with Ciara. Amanda apologizes again to Ciara.
West admits that he was not the clearest with Meija and told her it was not an exclusive relationship…yet he sent her flowers on Valentine’s Day. It is evident that West’s “style” is to be unclear with the women he is seeing.
Speaking of Meija, Ciara explains that she has spoken to this ex, that, according to West, he was apparently NOT exclusive with. Ciara knows West was saying “I love you” to Meija and so West can’t even look at Ciara as he lies his way through it. Amanda says that she had some of this information and states that there was nothing going on between them around Valentine’s Day so why should she care.

West denies that Meija was his girlfriend, but SHE thought they were in an exclusive relationship…aka a girlfriend. This looks like news to Amanda. Jesse explains that he met Meija and he admits that he always thought Meija knew it was not exclusive. Jesse gets upset and says that the “sanctity of the friend group feels broken” and he is sad about it.
At the Après Ski party, West stated he did not want to be anyone’s girlfriend…which is interesting considering West explains that since the statement, he is now in a monogamous relationship with Amanda. Kyle gets very upset upon hearing this. West feels pressure to make this relationship work and Andy points out that this is dangerous because West is someone who has serious commitment issues.
Kyle calls it “eye-opening” learning about West’s other life. Amanda is in a vulnerable spot coming out of a ten-year relationship and West has now isolated Amanda. Kyle wants to know what the plan is for Amanda and wonders if it’s all worth it now.
West wishes he could have spoken to Kyle before things got carried away, but Kyle points out that he feels like a fool because he was texting West about their sex life while West was out with Amanda-twisted. West understands how everyone can feel like he is the worst, but is doing nothing to prove them otherwise.
West says that this got out of his control and regrets not speaking to Kyle before it happened. However, it WAS in his control the whole time. Ciara reminds Amanda that her posts seemed pretty insensitive and Andy tells Amanda that this seems like a friend betrayal, especially after Ciara gave her all of this advice during the summer to get out of her relationship.
Amanda finally states that she “did a really sh*tty thing” and calls it a confusing and crazy time in her life. Amanda developed feelings for someone that she wasn’t supposed to in a way she was not expecting to. She claims that she did not eat or sleep worrying about their friendship and it kills Amanda to know it hurt Ciara so deeply. But Ciara is not buying it. Ciara believes that West wants to embarrass her and that he is with Amanda to “spite” Ciara.

“He propositioned you and you said, ‘Yeah. Let’s do it.’ Like, at the slightest, if you were my friend, you would be like, that would be a big f**k you to Ciara. ‘Why would I ever do that to her?’ If anything, you would be like, ‘he wants revenge against her cause he resents her so f**king much.’ But that never even crossed your mind because he wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word. This is his last little word and I hope it works because he’s with you to spite me. So have fun,” said Ciara to Amanda.
The last episode has been the hardest for Ciara to watch, particularly when Ciara said goodbye to Amanda. Amanda sits listening stoically as Ciara gets choked up describing this bittersweet moment.

Ciara does not regret telling Amanda to believe in herself and Amanda claims she is appreciative of Ciara. She knows that she messed up an “incredible friendship and it’s something” she will “live with for the rest of her life.” Amanda goes on to say that Ciara does not deserve a friend like her.
Amanda was willing to say “f*ck it,” making Ciara’s friendship seem disposable. As this unfolds, Jesse is now “a mess” because he feels like he is losing a brother. He reminds West that it doesn’t look good right now for him. West is the one responsible for this friendship fallout and as everyone around him gets emotional, he sits cool as can be.
Even Andy can’t help but ask West if he is on a bunch of beta blockers*. West admits to being on a beta blocker and though he is not emotional enough for the group, he, too, is upset.
*Ciara’s recent post points out that beta blockers do not stop a person from being emotional…so perhaps West is just a robot?
Amanda and West admit they’re not in love yet as West says that they are not using the word love because it is so early on, but he is committed to the relationship. Amanda admits that they have had conversations about the seriousness of their exclusive relationship. Carl is aghast that West is hooking up with four different girls and her former best friend, so like why would Amanda want to stay with him?
Seems like West is already over the relationship with Amanda since he wants to get back to the early days of their time together. He claims to care a lot about the friendships within the group, but no one believes him.
During a break, West tells Andy that he feels horrible and Kyle understands that there will be no resolution for today. Amanda catches Kyle to give him a big hug and West can hardly stand to look at this embrace…in fact he hops back on his phone.

Lindsay comes back on set claiming there is not a lot of clarity with this reunion. Lindsay calls West the manipulator and feels as though this feels very short-sighted on their part.
Based on his reactions, it is evident that Kyle still cares for Amanda. Kyle is unsure where to go from here and admits that he never thought Amanda and West would ever be a thing. Ciara calls this reunion cathartic because now she can move on with her life.
To end on a lighter note, Ciara helped raise over $160,000.00 for a Girl Scout Troop and that is something worth celebrating. In honor of Ciara’s grand fundraising, they are given some Girl Scout cookies, but not before Amanda scolds West for eating them before the toast.
This was the most fun season to watch, but certainly not the most fun reunion. And just when you think you’ve seen the end of this crew…there’s a bonus episode next week. Summer House: the aftermath. Let’s see how Amanda feels about their “relationship” now…
