Rosie DiMare‘s square footage has been confirmed via tax records amid her ongoing house battle with co-star Kelsey Swanson on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
As Rosie, 35, shaded Kelsey, 32, for continuing to poke at her, despite their truce, doubled down on her suggestion that judges had been paid off in the Miss Rhode Island pageant she won in 2017, and promoted her “slampig” merchendize after trademarking the term, it was confirmed that her North Kingstown home, which she shares with Rich DiMare, 35, was not as big as she claimed — just as Kelsey suspected.
According to the tax assessor’s records obtained by The Providence Journal, before the addition, Rosie’s house features just 1,068 sq. ft. of living space. However, that does not include the addition Rosie discussed on the show.
As RHORI fans witnessed, Rosie shared plans to expand her home to 8,000 square feet and regularly said it was a 5,000-square-foot project. And, according to her application for a building permit for the addition, it included a 1,900-square-foot first floor and a 900-square-foot second floor, which totals 2,800 square feet.
That math doesn’t exactly add up, but as noted, her plans showed stairs leading from the first floor down to a basement, which could bring the total square footage to 4,700.
As for her feud with Kelsey, Rosie expressed exhaustion.
“This has been a long time of just being discredited, constantly hearing these girls try to spread rumors about me or my husband,” Rosie told DECIDER last month. “It’s like nothing I do is good enough. Everything I do, there’s a crazy reaction.”
As for her decision to show up to her home with a bullhorn and further press at the square footage argument, Rosie didn’t understand her motive.
“I don’t know why she thought that this was a moment to joke or to go back to poking me,” Rosie stated. “If we were really going to build a friendship, wouldn’t you come and be nice to me while I’m literally setting this up so that you can cut my hair again and I’ll post it all over the internet? You would think she would be excited for that. Instead, it’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going to jab her again. I’m so funny.’ Maybe don’t become a comedian. Read the room.”
As for her claim that Kelsey’s ex paid off the judges for her Miss Rhode Island win, Rosie stood by it.
“Usually, I don’t say things that I can’t confirm. I like to have my documents in a row,” she said. “I have heard all of those things. Her family members have said some of these things. I wasn’t going to ever say them because it’s not my business. It’s not my problem. I know she thinks I have some large notes app on her, which she wishes. She’s never been in my phone. But I think that when you get pushed to a certain point, you’re just going to say whatever you want. And that’s what I did.”
She also teased the upcoming reunion, stating that she brought “plenty” of receipts.
“I have some things up my sleeve I’ll be showing,” she revealed.
As for her “slampig” trademark, The U.S. Sun confirmed that Rosie filed papers with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the derogatory term, which signals a promiscuous woman and is used in the Northeast.
“Slampig has significance or is a term of art in the relevant trade of industry or as used in connection with the goods or services listed in the application, as follows: It’s a New England term for a s**t,” Rosie wrote in her September 2025 application, adding that she intended to create pet clothing, coffee mugs, shirts, and provide entertainment services with the term.
On episodes of the show, after slamming Rosie as a “slampig,” Kelsey wore a pageant sash that said “Miss Slampig United States” to a trivia night with their castmates.
Now, after being issued a Notice of Allowance in April, which meant that her application was approved, pending a few more steps, Rosie is selling merch, including tank tops, T-shirts, and hoodies.
“It’s time for SLAMPIG SUMMER,” Rosie announced on Instagram, encouraging her Instagram followers to check out the link in her bio.
