The Valley's Nia Booko Slammed as "Catty" & "Petty" for Leaving Janet Off Brittany's Meal Train as She Claims Janet Wants to Be the Victim and Janet Fires Back at "Strange" Behavior

Nia Booko is under fire after leaving Janet Caperna off Brittany Cartwright‘s post-surgery meal train on the latest episode of The Valley.

As Nia, 36, defended the snub, suggesting that it wasn’t a big deal and accusing Janet of wanting to be the victim, Brittany, 37, and Jasmine Goode, 38, called the move “catty” and “petty” as Janet labeled it “strange” and other cast members, including Zack Wickham and Michelle Saniei, 37, weighed in.

“If Nia actually went through with the whole thing and didn’t involve Janet, that would not have been so weird. I think it was because Janet specifically asked Nia, ‘Can you please send me the link?’ And she said, ‘Yes.’ And then didn’t on top of everything else, so it kind of looked catty,” Brittany reasoned on the June 10 episode of The Valley: After Show.

And Jasmine agreed, saying, “Nia was being petty.”

“Janet should still have been included because Janet is Brittany’s best friend,” Jasmine explained. “Brittany just had a crazy surgery … It’s a meal train. It’s not about Nia and [Danny Booko]. It’s about Brittany.”

Although Jasmine noted that Nia, who’s been feuding with Janet for the past couple of seasons due to their different moral and societal views, had every right to do what she wanted, she wished she’d owned her pettiness, rather than rationalizing it.

Even Zack, who is close with Nia, confirmed telling her, “‘Nia, you knew you were leaving her off it,'” before clarifying that he would’ve done the same.

He then said that he wouldn’t have cared if he were Janet because you don’t need to be on a meal train to help someone.

In her own segment, Nia suggested she had made it clear that anyone could participate in a group text.

“I specifically said in the group text message of a previously existing group text, I said, ‘Send this to any of Brittany’s family and friends that want to also contribute,’” she revealed.

Then, as Zack noted that he wasn’t part of the group chat and received the information from Nia personally, Nia added, “Zack didn’t say, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe you left me off the group text. You’re a terrible person,’ because he’s her friend and he’s just going to show up. It’s not a big deal, but Janet wants to be the victim.”

“Yeah,” Kristen Doute, 43, agreed.

“[And] she did show up. She gave food to Brittany. Great. So what are you making a big deal about?” Nia wondered.

Also on the After Show, after Michelle admitted to wondering why Lacy Nicole, 36, was in the group chat, but not Janet and the rest of their friends, Janet stated, “That is kind of strange.”

“Lacy lives in Orange County. I live a block away. I could easily bring food. Lacy has to drive 2.5 hours to bring food,” she pointed out.

Janet then shaded Nia for dropping the ball on helping Brittany.

“When I found out the meal train wasn’t happening, I was pretty bummed out. You don’t promise somebody food who’s a single mom and then just not do it … so that was a bummer,” she concluded.

The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
