Gia Giudice called Ava Dash “nasty” while discussing Ava’s claim that her mother, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, unfollowed her on social media during an interview on Thursday.
As she also explained how Ariana Biermann, 24, and Hudson McLeroy’s split impacted the Next Gen NYC cast amid filming on season two and confirmed whether they were officially back together, Gia, 25, slammed Ava, 26, for accusing Teresa, 54, of petty social media behavior on season one.
“It came out of nowhere and it just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other,” Gia told Page Six‘s Virtual Reali-Tea on June 18.
As for whether Ava had used the allegation as a distraction from her family’s alleged financial turmoil, Gia said she believed “eventually viewers will see that within her a little bit.”
“She’s very aware of her image and how she would like to be perceived. Obviously, nobody likes bad press or bad attention. But, unfortunately that comes with this territory,” she continued, adding that despite their drama, she’d “never” deny that Ava is gorgeous.
“You could be nasty and still beautiful,” she noted.
Gia also addressed Ava’s claim about Teresa on Nick Viall‘s podcast, The Viall Files, in July 2025.
“Do you really think she would be able to just sit there and take the time to do that? I just know my mom and she barely knows how to film her Cameos correct,” she said at the time. “She’s not tech savvy in any way, so when Ava said that, I was like, ‘Girl, you’re just lying. I know my mom and she doesn’t care that much to unfollow you.’”
Moving on to Ariana and Hudson, 24, Gia told Virtual Reali-Tea that the falling out between them led to division amongst their group.
“We obviously are supporting Ariana and really being there for her. Obviously, certain people had opinions about their breakup. They’re not going to be buddy-buddy with her and be canoodling with her as they’re trying to say that the breakup was fake,” she explained. “I know Ariana. She is my best friend. Never felt that, never thought that. It was truly a time when they both needed some space. It was getting too comfortable and you need to sometimes be uncomfortable to then grow … I think that definitely had something to do with the divide a little bit, but also … there was also weird energy and attitude being given to some of us during press last year during season one.”
Regarding where Ariana and Hudson stand today, Gia said they were “taking the time” to figure it out.
“They haven’t made it official yet,” she revealed.
Next Gen NYC season two premieres on Wednesday, June 24, at 9/8c on Bravo.
