Hudson McLeroy’s mom, Carol McLeroy, was arrested on battery charges on June 15 in Georgia after an alleged assault on her much-younger boyfriend.
Ahead of the second season of Next Gen NYC, Hudson, 24, is making headlines, not for his seemingly rekindled romance with co-star Ariana Biermann, 24, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, 48, but for the incarceration of his 58-year-old mother, who was accused of backhanding her boyfriend in the face earlier this month.
In a mugshot obtained by The U.S. Sun from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office on June 23, Carol’s mascara is smeared, and her hair is disheveled.
In a statement from the Hall County Sheriff’s Department, it was alleged that Carol’s 32-year-old boyfriend had called 911 to report an assault, and a sheriff’s deputy determined that the “victim and McLeroy were in a relationship and the victim often stayed several nights a week at McLeroy’s farm.”
According to the report, a sheriff’s deputy claimed that “on the night of the assault, the two were in a bedroom and had a verbal argument.”
“The victim hit McLeroy with a pillow and McLeroy then struck the victim in the face two times with the back of her hand, causing the injuries,” the report explained, noting that the incident seemed to have taken place at Carol’s $3.2 million home in Georgia.
“[Carol backhanded] him in the face at least two times,” causing a “red laceration under his left eye and bottom lip,” the deputy continued.
After being arrested on a misdemeanor family violence battery charge, Carol, who previously appeared on MTV’s Buckhead Shore with her other son, Parker Lipman, 32, spent the night behind bars and was released the following day on a $1,300 cash bond.
Next Gen NYC season two premieres tonight, June 24, at 9/8c on Bravo.
