Kenny Martin‘s half-brother, Josh Willock, called him out in an Instagram comment over his recent reunion with their father on Summer House: In the City.

As Kenny offered an update on where he stands with his dad following decades of estrangement, discussed his future with Whitney Fransway, 35, and revealed the reality television advice she gave him, Josh shared a lengthy message in which he accused Kenny of using the reunion for clout.

“I’m one of Kendon’s half brothers. He reached out to me desperate for information on our dad (which unfortunately, I had none). He told me he’d hired a PI and said he’d update me when he found information. Little did I [realize] it was all a ploy for this show,” Josh alleged, as seen in a screenshot shared by The Salty Chip Podcast on Threads.

“Assuming this episode is recorded and then on scheduled release, he’s got his answers and left me out of it. The faux family reunion approach was to secure TV clout. Using ‘trauma’ to try and bond with the intention of staking his spot on Z tier reality TV is bottom of the barrel stuff. Proper bellend. Can understand the hate in the comments now,” he continued.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Bravo Insider, Kenny confirmed that he and his dad have “reconnected” since the episode in which their reunion was discussed aired.

“Things are awesome with my dad. He’s fully back in my life. And we’re in each other’s lives,” he revealed. “I’ve seen him multiple times now. We talk weekly. And he’s an outlet, especially with this show. There’s a lot going on and a lot of kind of scrutiny. And it’s nice to have someone to talk to that, you know, he hasn’t been in my life in the last 25 years. But yeah, he knows who I am.”

Moving on to his relationship with Whitney, Kenny said they were doing “great.”

“Our relationship has gone through these struggles and periods of excitement, being criticized and having to defend it, and working through grief. And it feels like we have gone through everything together,” he noted. “She has been ride or die with me, and vice versa, and we’re just in a really, really, really great place right now.”

They’re even thinking of plans for a family.

“I think we’ve talked about it a lot. Literally, all of her friends are pregnant. Our goal is to have two, maybe three, before 40. She just turned 35. We’ve got a 5-year plan. And I think that’s very, very achievable,” he stated.

Kenny also revealed the advice Whitney, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, gave him ahead of their In the City debut.

“I think that the advice was like just be yourself, and stand up for what you believe in. But also, like, if there’s something that you need to own and apologize [for] then do that as well. Right? So, Whitney did this like 10 years ago, and she’s an expert at just kind of like doing it, not listening to any of the feedback, and all this stuff. And then I’m still kind of like navigating through it all a little bit.
