Cynthia Bailey clapped back after Shamea Morton shaded her position on Real Housewives of Atlanta. The star said she’s “not surprised” – and hinted that Shamea has “bigger fish to fry” and “bigger shoes to fill.”

In an interview for Reality with the King, Shamea shaded Cynthia, who had recently suggested on her podcast that Shamea has big feet. In the interview, Shamea said she was surprised by Cynthia’s treatment of her on RHOA, and she called out how Cynthia is not a full-time Housewife but a ‘friend of.’

On her Humble Brag podcast, Cynthia reacted to Shamea shading her ‘friend’ position.

“I’m not surprised,” said Cynthia, via @thejasminebrand on Instagram. “I’m not surprised. … I don’t want to go into too much, but the good news is she watches our show. She watches our podcast because she said that she was watching our podcast [when] we were talking about the whole foot thing and all that stuff, which … I don’t think I went too hard.”

“I just basically said I also have big feet,” Cynthia explained. “I didn’t really drag it, you know what I’m saying? Or her. But whatever. … I definitely feel like she has bigger fish to fry than me, for sure. … [And] she’s got bigger shoes to fill, I guess. Bigger feet to put socks on.”

She then went back to Shamea’s comment about Cynthia not being a full-time Housewife.

“After you’ve been a Housewife for over a decade and you started off as a Housewife and not a friend … is it really shade?” asked Cynthia, seemingly knocking how Shamea started off as a friend before she was promoted to full-time. “It wasn’t like I was on the sidelines for years and then finally got my peach, so I think it’s a moot point.”

Earlier this week, Shamea revealed she sent a cease and desist over Angela Oakley’s allegation that Shamea cheated on her husband with NBA players.

“I’ve gotten a few people in the office asking me about it,” said Shamea on Way Up with Angela Yee at the time. “And I don’t want to go into the details of it, but I’ve been forced to really pretty much send a cease and desist. Because unless you’re going to come forward with the actual names so we can talk about it, you’re just throwing out stuff.”

New episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta air Sunday nights on Bravo.
