K. Michelle unfollowed Shamea Morton on Instagram after the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, and she wrote a cryptic post about how a “friend to everyone” is a “friend to no one.” Plus, Shamea hinted at reunion “bombshells.”
Though Shamea and Michelle were close friends early in the season, Michelle got upset when Shamea seemingly chose her friendship with Kandi Burruss over Michelle. Some fans, however, have accused the cast of targeting Shamea for no reason.
According to a screenshot shared by @chripotle on X, Michelle unfollowed Shamea on Instagram after filming the reunion, which hasn’t yet aired.
Around the same time, Michelle wrote a cryptic post on X: “A friend to everyone is a friend to no one.”
Meanwhile, Shamea teased the reunion in an interview with Chris Gunther, via @nochaser_tv on Instagram.
“The reunion was filled with bombshells and edge-of-your-seat moments. It was like, I’m exhausted. I’m so happy it is done and behind us,” she said. “Whether or not there’s closure, well, you never know. So you just gotta wait and see.”
“Some people might think there’s closure, but then you get into the next season and it’s crazy and chaotic,” she continued. “So I would like to think that everybody left with clear heads, clear hearts, clear minds, but I don’t want to give a spoiler alert, so you just gotta watch it.”
Earlier this week, Shamea responded to claims that she’s a victim of colorism from her castmates.
“If you treat people with kindness, it should be reciprocated,” said Shamea on The Neighborhood Talk. “And oftentimes, we don’t see that. I mean, heck. I’ve been taking it on the chin from fans since I joined the cast. So it’s just nice to finally see that people are seeing things from my POV.”
“‘Cause you know, there’s always your truth, their truth, and then the real truth,” she went on. “I’m just happy that people are even opening up their eyes to actually see and try to understand it. Cause I was like … what is happening? Why is it happening? … I’m not a victim, but it’s like, ‘Well, okay. Why not me?’ … I just hope at some point we can get to a space where we’re all one cohesive group and there’s no division.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights on Bravo.
