The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has fired her longtime publicist, Lori Krebs, following the news of Lori’s months-long romance with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor.
After a series of photos and a video of Jax, 47, celebrating his birthday with Lori and other friends at the Hotel Mousai resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, hit the web, sources have confirmed that a “very upset” Brittany has cut ties with the woman after more than a decade.
According to a report from TMZ on July 14, Brittany gave Lori the axe on Monday after Lori called her to warn her of the then-impending release of the photos of her and Jax.
The outlet also stated that witnesses claimed Jax and Lori, who were first linked in 2024, had been even cozier than the photos revealed, staying close to one another and hugging throughout their pool day on Monday. In one video, the new couple was seen chatting by the pool, where they were seen with their arms around one another.

According to a second report, Brittany is “very upset” by the romance between Jax and Lori, who have reportedly been dating for the past few months.
“Brittany is very upset about the photos but isn’t surprised,” a source told PEOPLE on July 14. “She could tell their relationship was more than client-rep.”
Brittany and Jax split in January 2024, and in August of that same year, Brittany filed for divorce. Since then, the couple has agreed on a custody plan for their son, five-year-old Cruz, which has them sharing joint legal custody and physical custody of the child.
