Meredith Marks signaled karma and irony following the news of Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas‘ splits from Justin Rose and Shawn Trujillo, respectively.
After Angie, 53, and Shawn, 53, called it quits following 27 years of marriage and amid rumors of a potential affair, and Whitney, 39, and Justin, 58, separated after 16 years of marriage, reportedly due to financial strain, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star posted the shady message on social media.
“It’s ironic when you see [everything] that has been said about you manifest in the people who said it. Much more to come on this subject, but people who spread negativity about an aspect of someone else’s life usually are insecure of that in their own life. 2026 has been a year of karma in so many different ways,” Meredith declared on Threads on July 22.
Then, after facing backlash from fans who felt she was out of line, Meredith clarified her comment by mentioning the ill treatment she’d received from her co-stars.
“Let me be clear for those of you who are trying to read too deeply into my comment,” she wrote. “I do not wish ill upon anyone or celebrate anyone’s demise. But I do note the irony in karma when someone has continually lied about me to hide their own truths. As I said you don’t even know about many of the issues I am referencing here but I do believe in karma and I do hope all the people in my life find their own happiness, whatever that means for them.”
Meredith also reacted to a fan who pointed to her past marriage issues with Seth Marks, 54.
“A few years ago, this could have been you and Seth and according to [Lisa Barlow] herself, there were PLENTY of rumors (and a lot of nastiness) surrounding your marriage too. Sometimes silence is the classier way to deal with things but this is not nice. It just invites karma to come right back to you,” they warned.
“This is about a lot more than marriage. And there have been a ton of lies spread about my marriage,” Meredith replied.
Meanwhile, on Whitney’s page, she clapped back with a telling message.
“Shout out to all the women on here who support other women,” she said.
She then sent a couple of heart emojis to supportive fans.
“Not even a question. We got you. F*ck anyone who doesn’t,” one person stated.
“Those celebrating right now are exactly the people I thought they were. Good thoughts and love for your head and heart right now,” added another.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
