Angie Katsanevas debuted a new look during an interview last week, and TikTok had a lot to say about it.
Amid rumors claiming she and husband Shawn Trujillo, 53, have split, the 52-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was seen speaking to Us Weekly about the upcoming seventh season of the show, teasing the dynamics between her and her castmates, as fans wondered what was different and compared her to 90 Day Fiancé star Shekinah Güven, 43.
“The bond is getting deeper and I think you feel that, that growth with time, that grown with everyone evolving and us all really getting to know each other on a deeper level … You’re gonna see the friendships deepening but with that comes more hurt but more joy and more fun and also I just think that you’re see a lot more of everyone’s authentic self,” Angie teased. “Everyone has hit their stride, and we’re seeing everyone in their truest form.”
Angie then shared that Heather Gay, 51, had been her “ride or die” throughout season seven, explaining that they have a true friendship that holds one another accountable.
“We can be honest. We can be harsh, and we’re both pretty direct, but when you’re friends … she’ll love me when I’m in the wrong, but she’ll tell me I’m in the wrong,” she shared.

After the clip was shared, fans said Angie had “too much work” and asked her, “What’s happening?”
“Nooo what did she do?” one person wondered.
“She looks totally different,” someone else said.
Another commenter pointed to Angie’s use of color contacts as others compared her to Shekinah.
“Woah I thought that was [Shekinah] from 90 Day Fiancé for a second,” said a fan.
“Shekinah is that you?” asked another.

Following the many questions, one fan suggested social media users take it easy on Angie.
“Guys she’s potentially going through a divorce and pulling herself together for this video. How about be kind and don’t make a b*tchy comment just to get a like?” they suggested.
As RHOSLC fans may know, rumors of a split between Angie and Shawn, as well as a potential affair, began swirling earlier this month.
“Apparently Shawn was hooking up with a stylist from the Salon!” Bravo by Gays shared with their Instagram followers at the time. “Someone has been spilling the tea this weekend to people they thought wouldn’t tell anyone!”
However, days later, an insider told The U.S. Sun that there was “no merit” to the cheating allegations.
“Angie is the one who called it off,” they claimed. “They separated months ago but have been trying to maintain a happier public image for both their business and the show. They didn’t want to hide anything or come off as liars, but they don’t know how to publicly navigate the demise of a 30-year-long relationship.”
“So that’s why it’s been under wraps,” the source continued. “The decision wasn’t made lightly, and most importantly, they want to protect their daughter [15-year-old Elektra] and their business.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
