Emily Simpson is being accused of having donated over $1,500 to Donald Trump ahead of the 2020 election.

After the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star took to her Threads account to deny that she was MAGA, despite having previously admitted to voting for President Trump, a Bravo fan page on X shared a couple of screenshots of Emily’s apparent payments to the president.

“Emily Simpson donated $1,542 to the Donald Trump campaign,” Sutton’s Roller shared on July 27.

In one accompanying screenshot, payments sent from “Emily Simpson” to “Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.,” most of which were in the amount of $100, were detailed.

In another screenshot, it was revealed that the “Emily Simpson” in question was an attorney living in Laguna Niguel, California, which seemed to write off any questions regarding whether it could have been another woman of the same name.

Before the reveal of the donations, Emily had denied that she was a supporter of MAGA after being confronted about the topic on Threads.

“Emily is a maga gal you’re an embarrassment to women everywhere,” a person had written, as seen in a screenshot shared on Reddit.

“Are [you] a movie theater? [Because] it’s giving projection,” Emily clapped back. “I have strong values and that makes me inherently anti maga. But keep believing what fake rumors you will. (A very maga trait tho).”

As fans may recall, Emily admitted to voting for President Trump in 2016 while appearing on The NotSam Networks’ The Tomorrow Show in 2018.

“Are you asking me if I’m a Trump supporter? … We did [vote for Trump], my whole family did, ya…I don’t regret that,” Emily confirmed. “I mean, I’m probably going to get backlash for this, but, you know. I, I would say I’m, I’m socially liberal. I don’t have, you know. I, I think people should live their life anyway they want to live their life.”

“I just felt like Trump’s, um, views and as far as the economy and jobs and things like that is what I, what, what I align with,” she continued. “I felt like he puts our country, the best interests of our country first and, you know, I mean, I know he’s a little out there, and he says some crazy things, but I feel like his intentions at the end of the day are, um, what’s best for our nation as a whole.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
