Drama on The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been heating up all season after Angela Oakley perpetuated a rumor that her neighbor, Ashley Byrom‘s husband, George Byrom, had an affair with Shamea Morton.
Ashley took Angela, 45, to task for allegedly “fishing” and spreading made-up gossip about George and Shamea, 44, allegedly having an affair.
While Angela denied the allegation, claimed to have hired a private investigator, and insisted she was “vindicated,” Ashley took to Instagram to release audio from George’s Crash to Cash show to prove otherwise.
“She said, ‘Your husband precedes you,'” Ashley wrote over the clip. “Funny… because it looks like your words preceded the truth. Lying a*s. Press play.”
“This girl here – let me tell you something,” George said. “I met her at the go*damn Cheetah. I ain’t know… Look, look, look, look. I don’t look at a lot of TV. I said, ‘Hey, I got your way in this motherf*cker.’ She said, ‘Okay.'”
“Look, that’s how we met, at the motherf*cking Cheetah! Every time I see her, I got to pay her,” he continued. “She on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Look, look, look, look. Look, look, look. This girl… I’d be like, ‘This girl work more than anybody I know.’ This girl be at the Hawks game working. She be doing her foundation working.”
“I’m like, ‘Girl, when do you sit down?'” he added. “Look, then she be like, ‘George, give me some money for my foundation.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, well how much?’ But it’s all good. I love her for real, though. Now, Shamea, tell them what you wanted.”
“Hey baby, it’s all about crash to cash!” Shamea replied. “Yeah.”
Shamea took to the comments on the audio to respond.
“Vindicated my a*s,” she wrote. “🤥 A lie doesn’t care who tells it. Smh!”
As Reality Blurb recently reported, Ashley fired back at Angela on Instagram in a recent post.
”Girl… you still ain’t vindicated,” she wrote. “Be careful joking around Angela chile… it’s a worn testimony at this point.”
”I see the landscaping and point crew been busy though,” she added.
Ashley also shared a screenshot of Ring doorbell camera footage, noting, “Hearing vindicated when I have Ring footage of her coming to my house on Halloween night before filming to see how I’d respond to this foolishness. Them edits make y’all forget about real life.”
