Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney sparked rumors of engagements to their boyfriends, Daniel Wai and Nick Martin, respectively, during a recent episode of Stassi Schroeder‘s new series, House of Stassi.
After they filmed a scene for the show’s third episode at their shared sandwich shop, Something About Her, Ariana, who has been dating Daniel since early 2023, and Katie, 40, who has been with Nick since late 2024, have some fans convinced that one of them is about to take the next step in their relationship.
“Did an editing mistake on House of Stassi accidentally just reveal that Ariana Madix is engaged?” Kim from Bravo Breaking News asked listeners in a clip shared on Instagram on July 31.

According to Kim, Ariana was sitting down with Katie to discuss Katie’s then-strained friendship with Stassi when subtitles seemingly confirmed that someone had asked, “How’s your fiancé?”
“My fiancé,” read the response.
Then, after another question said, “Do you love saying it?,” a second reply shared, “Yeah, it is really fun to say ‘my fiancé.’”
Although it was unclear who was saying what, Ariana has faced a number of engagement rumors in recent months, most recently in February, when she sported a mysterious ring while attending the Wuthering Heights premiere.

Months prior, while celebrating her 40th birthday, Ariana faced another round of rumors as fans took notice of the same ring on her finger on a couple of different occasions.
Just before that, Ariana appeared on Katie and Dayna Kathan‘s Disrespectfully podcast, where she spoke of potentially moving in with Daniel after years of bi-coastal dating.
“It’s getting to a point where it’s like, ‘OK, now we’re really going to [move in together],’” she admitted.
Ariana then noted that certain aspects of long-distance dating have been good for her and Daniel.
“It really forces you to talk to each other because you can’t just hang out and watch a movie or go to a bar and make out. You have to have conversations,” she explained. “I think that’s really helped us build our communication from the beginning. What he’s really good about is making sure that there’s always a date.”
“We have phone dates and stuff where we’ll pick a recipe, and we both order the (ingredients) and we make it together and then sit and eat together and watch shows… He makes sure we have dates while we’re apart, as well,” she added.
Ariana and Daniel were first spotted together just weeks after her controversial breakup from Tom Sandoval, 43, who cheated on her with their friend and Pump Rules co-star, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 30, after nearly 10 years of dating.
As for Katie, she began dating Nick, the guitarist for Sleeping with Sirens, after her divorce from Tom Schwartz, 43.
House of Stassi season one is currently streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
