Allie Eklund posted a video of herself using a beef tallow skin care product on Monday night amid the latest episode of The McBee Dynasty season three.
As she also spoke out in a new interview, explaining why she leaked the abusive text messages Steven McBee Jr. sent to her after accusing her of cheating on him at the Stagecoach music festival and confirming whether she had regrets about doing so, Allie, 29, promoted the idea of using tallow to her fans and followers.
“Stop sleeping on beef tallow, it might be the best thing you’re not putting on your face,” Allie wrote in the caption of her August 10 Instagram post.

While Allie may have simply been promoting beef tallow, many felt that the post had another meaning. After all, she was recently involved in a percentage battle over Steven’s sister-in-law Kacie Adkison‘s line.
“She didn’t tag any brands. Maybe she is just bringing an awareness to the benefits of beef tallow can have on your skin. Since she posted on a Monday night… maybe it’s not meant to be petty at all,” one person wrote.
Another noted that there could “be more than one” brand of tallow, noting that grocery stores offer a selection.
“Um it says Ekland Farms. Must be her tallow,” a third alleged, suggesting that Allie was actually supporting Kacie.
Meanwhile, in an August 10 interview with Decider, Allie explained that she chose to release Steven’s text messages because she had money and partnerships on the line.
“After he made his post, prior to having a conversation with me, mind you, I had around $50,000 in brand deals that were on the line and being dropped because of all of the drama circulating around it. And at that point I hadn’t defended myself,” she shared. “I released the messages specifically responding to the accusations or the claims that he made about me because I felt that it was important to make my side clear. I really felt like my hands were tied and I didn’t have an option at that point.”
“I had to respond and I would want my sisters, my friends, my family, and I would encourage any woman to defend themselves and to respond, and I don’t believe that he’s used to that from women, so I had to put my foot down,” she continued.
As for potential regrets, Allie declared, “I’m now looking back happy that I did.”
