Brielle Biermann wasn’t trying to steal influencer Brigette Pheloung‘s thunder when she shared a video of the Vera Wang wedding dress she almost chose for her upcoming wedding to her fiancé, Billy Seidl.
After the 29-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, 48, posted the clip of herself in the gown on Sunday, just hours after Bridgette, 29, of Aquired Style, was seen in the dress in a leaked photo from her own wedding on Saturday, Brielle was forced to defend herself against what fans deemed “weird timing.”
“Still love her,” Brielle captioned her Instagram video on August 9, also telling fans that the Vera Wang design was the dress she “almost said yes to.”

“No forsureeeeee it’s just a coincidence to dedicate an entire post to the dress u DIDNT choose the same day someone else gets leaked in the same dress forsureeeee a coincidence,” one person wrote in a comment after the clip was shared.
“Beyonddddd weird timing,” said another.
“Ohhhhhhhhhh you’re posting this because this is [Bridgette’s] wedding dress, got it!” added a third.
As some may have seen, Bridgette married Mitch McHale on August 8 in Newport, Rhode Island.
After facing backlash over her potentially shady post, Brielle clapped back, sharing a screenshot in which it was confirmed that her video had been created on Friday, August 7, at 4:19 p.m., one day before Bridgette’s wedding.
“Addressing this once [and] for all. As you’ll see, I made this video on Friday. We had it scheduled to be posted on Sunday for engagement purposes,” Brielle revealed. “I’ve never met [Brigette Pheloung] [and] did not know she was getting married this weekend, let alone see a leaked photo of her! She clearly has great taste that she went with Vera Wang for her dress!! My wedding is approaching, so my content strategist wanted me to start posting bridal content leading up to my date. I have another video of an additional dress I almost said yes to that is prescheduled to post tomorrow. To [Bridgette], I genuinely hope you had a fabulous wedding day [and] enjoyed your dress.”
Also on Instagram, Brielle shared a joint post of herself with Kim on a double date with Billy, 26, and Kim’s boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz, who she’s been dating for the past several months amid her messy split from Kroy Biermann, 40.
Brielle and Billy’s wedding date has not yet been confirmed.
