Teddi Mellencamp has a new man in her life, and she introduced him to her fans and followers earlier this week as they attended one of her dad John Mellencamp‘s concerts.
As her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, 49, attended the same event, the 45-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who had recently mentioned a “Valley guy” on her podcast, posted a slideshow of videos and photos on her Instagram page, which included not only the unnamed man but also her kids and friends, including Kyle Richards, 57.
“First he met a cougar. Then he met The Cougs,” Teddi wrote in her August 11 caption, adding hashtags for “Valley guy” and “if you know, you know.”
“Thanks to everyone who came out to support [John Mellencamp] last night. It was incredible seeing everyone have the time of their lives,” she declared.
After the post was shared, Teddi was flooded with comments from her followers, some of whom applauded the new romance and others who simply shared a heart emoji.
“Omggg we finally meet the Valley guy!” one person exclaimed.
“He’s so handsome, I love seeing you have fun,” shared another.
“Love this,” added a third.
As RHOBH fans will recall, Teddi split from Edwin, the father of her three children, in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage.
“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” she explained in an Instagram statement at the time. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward,” she continued.
Months later, in February 2025, after experiencing intense headaches, Teddi went to the doctor, where multiple tumors were discovered in her brain, and she was ultimately diagnosed with brain cancer.
In the months that followed, Teddi began dating Ricci Rea, but she confirmed in July 2025 that they had parted ways so she could focus her attention on her cancer battle.
“Right now, it started getting to the point where it’s starting to get a little bit more serious. I was like, ‘I don’t have the capacity for this right now,’” Teddi explained to PEOPLE. “He’s a really nice guy, couldn’t be a nicer guy.”
“I’ve had to make it clear to people I’ve dated [that] this is where I am. This is what I’ve got,” she went on. “If it’s enough for you, great. If it’s not enough, I won’t be upset. I mean, yes, my feelings will probably be hurt, but this is all I’ve got to give. And if that’s enough, great.”
Teddi Mellencamp is currently in remission.
