Shannon Beador opened up about her status with Tamra Judge during an interview on Monday.
As she also commented on Vicki Gunvalson‘s efforts to make peace between them, teased an upcoming drama with Heather Dubrow, 57, and reacted to Carmella Garcia‘s shade against Vicki, 64, the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star offered an update on her daughters and admitted that season 20 was “light.”
“Absolutely. I think the last two years have been quite dark, so for me to be able to laugh and be silly with each and every cast member, I mean, is a gift,” Shannon said amid an August 10 interview with Extra TV. “I had a lot of fun. I think that for the first time in a while, everyone truly does get along. Everyone respects each other, so that’s really nice.”
That said, she and Tamra aren’t on the best of terms.
“Just when you think things are good, then you wonder if they are,” she admitted. “It’s just kind of an exhausting journey. But I’m in a place right now where I can be with her, and I can have fun.”
According to Shannon, Vicki was able to get her and Tamra to a better place than they were last year, which saw them at odds due to Tamra’s criticism of Shannon’s DUI and drinking habits.
“I didn’t want Vicki to be in the middle. That’s a very awkward position to be … so I was willing to brush everything under the rug and keep going,” Shannon explained.
As for Heather, Shannon said that while they were in a good place today, they did have a “little hiccup” amid filming.
“It’s coming … I look a little bit wacky,” she admitted.
She even teased an issue with Vicki, saying, “Oh, it’s coming,” before weighing in on Carmella telling the OG that “everyone has an expiration date.”
“She was sitting in between [me and Heather], and you see our mouths drop,” Shannon recalled.
According to Shannon, Carmella is an “amazing” housewife.
“She already has iconic lines. She’s really doing a good job. She’s a spitfire,” she described. “And I love her kids, too, like, the banter that, it reminds me a little bit of my kids, always trying to tease me and whatnot. She has that same relationship.”
Also during the interview, Shannon offered an update on her three daughters, including Sophie Beador, 24, and twins Stella and Adeline Beador, 22.
“They are doing incredibly well. I have one that graduated from college. She works in New York City. And my twins are gonna be seniors in college, one in New York, one in Paris. So they are living their best lives,” she confirmed.
