The Valley’s Janet Caperna Reveals If She’s Still Close to Ariana Madix, Praises Jason for Supporting Her When She Was Postpartum Amid Backlash Against Danny and Luke

Janet Caperna is praising her husband, Jason Caperna, for the support he gave her after the arrival of their two-year-old son, Cameron.

As her Valley co-stars, including Danny Booko, 42, and Luke Broderick, 35, face backlash for their postpartum behavior with their partners, Nia Booko, 36, and Kristen Doute, 43, respectively, Janet shared a couple of social media posts, while also revealing if she and Ariana Madix, 41, were still close, and sharing how she and Jason, 42, met.

“You know who has a young kid [and] is probably tired [and] is not a complete d*ck to their spouse? Jason,” someone wrote on Threads.

“Can confirm,” Janet replied.

Another person said, “Actually… Janet and [Lala Kent] were just on [Jeff Lewis Live] and Janet said she didn’t have a difficult with the first year.”

In response, Janet said that she had an easy year due to Jason’s support.

“It’s a lot easier when you have a supportive partner that cleans every bottle, brings you food while you’re breastfeeding, changes diapers, gives you praise and encouragement, etc,” she noted.

As Valley fans have seen, both Danny and Luke have been facing backlash for their treatment of their partners amid season three, which included wanting to be intimate soon after the births of their children.

Janet also spoke out on her Instagram Story during a Q&A on Monday.

“Are you still close with Ariana?” a fan asked. 

“I love Ariana, and I’m so excited because she’s gonna be back on Broadway for ‘Just In Time,’” Janet replied. “Last time when she did ‘Chicago,’ I was super pregnant and had just had Cameron during her run, so I couldn’t go see her in ‘Chicago,’ and I was devastated. I looked at so many options to try and get out there, but I am 100 percent going to ‘Just In Time.’ She has, I think, a 10-week run starting in September, and I’m already looking at tickets.”

Another person wondered, “How did you and Jason meet?”

“We were friends for like [two] years before we dated!” Janet revealed. “We had a lot of mutual friends. One day I had [four] beers and slid in his DMs and asked him to take me out.”

The Valley season three reunion concludes Wednesday, August 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
