Leah Remini is being added to the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its upcoming 16th season as a new report is also confirming who else will be joining Leah on the show.
With Kathy Hilton, 67, and Jennifer Tilly, 67, returning as “friends,” Leah, 56, who is known for her role on CBS’s long-running sitcom King of Queens and her anti-Scientology activism, is set to begin filming in a full-time capacity in Los Angeles later this week.
Variety confirmed the news on August 26 and added that Leah will be joined by returning full-time housewives including Kyle Richards, 57, Erika Jayne, 55, Dorit Kemsley, 50, Sutton Stracke, 54, Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, and Rachel Zoe, 54.
Around the same time, Leah reacted to the news on Instagram.
“It’s true!!” she declared.

News of Leah’s addition comes just days after Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor, 51, revealed she would also be featured as a full-time cast member.
“Well… the secret’s officially out … I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter,” Tracy declared. “Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life … Excited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely.”
“So what’s left to say but, Let’s f*cking go,” she added.

As for Amanda Frances, 40, who announced her departure from the series weeks ago, Variety confirmed she was not asked back.
“My time on [RHOBH] is complete,” Amanda began in an August 5 statement. “Saying yes to this show was one of the boldest, wildest, most clarifying things I’ve ever done. And I am genuinely grateful—Grateful for the experience. The women. The viewers who saw me, rooted for me, challenged me, quoted me, misunderstood me, defended me, found my work, bought my books, or simply watched me try to explain metaphysics in a room full of diamonds and side-eyes.”
“It was a ministry, honestly,” she added. “But I came into this experience with an already-full life. And right now, that life is asking for all of me.”

As RHOBH fans may have seen, season 16 went into production earlier this month, and the cast was recently filmed at Boz’s August 21 wedding to Keely Watson, 50, in Ghana, which was attended by Kyle, Dorit, Sutton, Jennifer, and Kathy.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 16 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
