The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards has been going through a contentious divorce from Aaron Phypers since July of 2025.

Along the way, there have been many allegations thrown back and forth, including Denise, 55, accusing Aaron, 53, of abuse.

Earlier this year, a judge ordered her to pay him $5,000 per month in spousal support and $25,000 for his attorney fees.

Aaron claimed Denise owes him over $23,000 in unpaid support. He also blamed her for an eviction, the potential repossession of his car, and his “cheap” new home, accusing her of paying only a portion of the support she owed him.

TMZ obtained a declaration he filed on September 2 in which he said he had no power, water, gas, or cell phone access; that his car was going to be repossessed; and that he couldn’t afford to put gas in his vehicle.

He also stated he was forced to move in with his family to a “humblingly cheap place not far from my attorney’s office.”

Additionally, he alleged that because Denise destroyed his phone last year, he was unable to generate income for himself as he couldn’t reach out to business contacts for work.

In light of this new information, multiple insiders exclusively spoke to Reality Blurb about the continuing tumultuous situation between the estranged pair.

“Denise is absolutely tired of the minutiae and the BS. Aaron and his family have freeloaded off of her for so long, and she’s tired of it,” a source claimed. “ Yes, Denise was ordered to pay him $5K a month in support, and she has sent him money, but it’s absolutely absurd that he’s claiming that, due to only ‘part’ of the money being paid, he’s in a bad spot and could be evicted.”

“He also is saying he has no power, water, gas, or cell phone, and that his car was repossessed and he can’t afford gas to drive to his lawyer’s. If his car was repossessed, what does he need gas for?” they added

Another insider questioned if Aaron has “not heard of getting a job.”

“It’s pathetic how he’s lived off of and mooched off of Denise for so long and, clearly, he wants to continue freeloading for the rest of his life,” they claimed. “And his excuse that he can’t access his business contacts due to Denise ‘destroying his phone’ is a lame one. If he’s so well respected and so sought after, wouldn’t these people find a way to get in touch with him?”

“Look at his track record and look at Denise’s,” one insider shared. “It doesn’t take a genius to read between the lines. This is a woman who has shown photos of alleged abuse, described horrific situations, had witnesses describe them, and been put through the wringer.”

“Isn’t it time the court finally does what’s right and forces Aaron to actually get a real job and stop living off of his ex?” they concluded. “It’s pathetic and absolutely ridiculous. He should be ashamed of himself. Period.”

Aaron has denied abusing Denise, but she was granted a restraining order against him that will remain active until 2030.
