On this past week’s episode of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, a lot of the most memorable cast members of The Real Housewives of Potomac appeared.
Specifically, OGs Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby were there.
At one point, Gizelle, 55, pulled the RHOP women aside and spoke about how far the franchise had come since the first season.
She also addressed why Karen Huger was absent from the event, sharing that Karen, 63, had decided not to attend as she had only gotten out of prison a few months before it was filmed, and she said she wanted to “baby-step her way back into all things Housewives.”
Notably absent from the season one cast were Katie Rost and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.
Those who follow Katie on Instagram know she has been going through mental health and substance abuse struggles, so her not appearing wasn’t a big surprise.
Charrisse, on the other hand, has been an integral part of the show since day one and has popped up numerous times since she left as a full-time housewife after season two.
Reality Blurb spoke exclusively to Charrisse, 61, to find out why she did not attend the RHUGT event.
“I wasn’t invited,” she shockingly shared.
When asked if she would have attended if she had been asked, she said, “Of course.”
“I worked my a*s off to make Potomac happen,” she said. “I laid the foundation so others could shine.”
Charrisse also noted that if it weren’t for her “diligent efforts, no one would know any of the faces of RHOP.”
She was specifically referring to the fact that she played a hand in helping to get the show cast during its inception.
To date, Bravo has not commented on why certain stars of The Real Housewives franchises were not invited to be a part of RHUGT.
The Real Housewives of Potomac is set to return to Bravo for its 11th season on October 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
