Taylor Frankie Paul took to her Instagram page on Monday to reveal the fate of her past romance with Ben Lambert.
Days after admitting that she wasn’t proud of the “cringy” bathtub scene they shot for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season five, Taylor, 32, posted a series of cuddled-up photos of the two of them as she confirmed their current status, apologized for the heartbreak she’d caused, and shared a photo of a sweet note Ben sent her.
“This is a hard post to write out because a lot of emotions come to surface,” Taylor began on September 14. “Ben is a reminder that there are good men out there. He so was patient, gentle, kind, understanding and tried to get me out of the cycle I was in.”
She then confirmed that their “goodbye” on season five was their final “goodbye.”
“Saying goodbye in the show was the last time I saw him and deeply mourned him. We’ve gone our separate ways. However he will make for an amazing husband and father one day and I hope he finds his person to give all that back to him,” Taylor shared. “I had to let him go because I knew he deserved so much better.”

While Taylor and Ben don’t have a future together, Taylor praised him for bringing a sense of calm into her life.
“My nervous system remembered what calm felt like around him, helped me through panic attacks, he listened to me cry, held space and soothed. He reminded me that I am a good mother even struggling. I hadn’t heard those words in years, so it meant so much to me,” she revealed. “[I] was and am sorry for all the heartache I caused and have told him as well. I wish nothing but the best for him.”
“If you thought he was a good guy through the screen, you’d love him more off,” Taylor added.

Along with photos of the two of them, Taylor included an image of a bouquet of roses Ben had gifted her.
“Hey pretty girl. Does this geek? Is this a good bit? I guessed that you might be tired of Red Roses. I’ll miss you – take care of yourself and maybe we’ll see each [other] soon. With love, Ben,” he had written on a card.
As SLOMW fans may recall, Taylor and Ben first became romantic amid the fourth season of the show, prior to her leaving Utah to film her unaired season of The Bachelorette, where she met and became engaged to Doug Mason, 29, before cheating on him with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, 33. Taylor then briefly reconciled with Ben amid a cast trip to New York City before another short-lived fling with Dakota.
She now claims she’s “single and celibate.”
