Carmella Garcia spoke about her split from longtime boyfriend Danny Hampel on Thursday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also confirmed whether or not she was dating, accused Vicki Gunvalson, 64, of playing the “victim,” and reacted to Emily Simpson, 50, and Jennifer Pedranti‘s early exit from Vicki’s home in La Quinta, the 44-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County newbie weighed in on Gina Kirschenheiter, 42, feeling hurt that Heather Dubrow, 57, chose her as a realtor over Gina, and confirmed Danny’s indiscretions were “ongoing.”
“It was ongoing, so, it can only end in one place,” Carmella reasoned on the September 17 episode of WWHL.
After dating Danny for “10 years,” Carmella is no longer speaking to him. And, when it comes to her kids, they communicate with him “very little.”
“It’s very sad for them, but I mean, it’s the natural place that it needs to go,” she explained.
According to Carmella, she’s gone through a range of emotions since their breakup.
“I have moments of feeling empowered and then moments of feeling heartbroken, and I think it’s just par for the course and you just gotta keep moving,” she shared.
While Carmella is moving forward without Danny, she isn’t dating quite yet.
“I haven’t gotten that far yet … [But I] like a nerd, someone who does taxes, that can help around the house,” she revealed.
Moving on to Vicki and her conversation with Tamra Judge, 59, about feeling lonely, Carmella said that while she could “empathize” with her castmate, she noticed a pattern with Vicki.
“It feels like when she’s in the hot seat, it always kind of circles back to her being the victim,” she noticed.
Carmella then said that Emily and Jennifer, 49, should have “absolutely not” stayed at Vicki’s home after their drama over Vicki’s “low-hanging fruit” diss about Jennifer, and admitted that she wasn’t waiting for an apology from Vicki.
“I don’t care if it’s to me. Eagles don’t fly with seagulls,” Carmella declared.
She also shaded Vicki on the WWHL: After Show after being asked if she’d met any other housewives that had previously been playmates.
“I’ve only met Jeana Keough, and I love and adore her. She’s like an OG, and she was so nice — a kind OG,” she stated, suggesting that Vicki was not kind.
Meanwhile, on the live broadcast, Carmella admitted she understood why Gina was upset that Heather didn’t work with her when looking for a home for her daughter Max.
“I totally understand where Gina was coming from, and we’re in a good place, but it just seemed to make sense,” she explained.
Also on the show, Carmella said that the biggest complaint playmates had with the late Hugh Hefner was that “he was controlling” and denied having kissed Leonardo DiCaprio, 51.
