Gizelle Bryant revealed what didn’t air amid her fight with Lisa Barlow on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and said she and Lisa didn’t know they were “being filmed.” Gizelle’s friend Robyn Dixon then reacted, calling out Lisa’s lack of “respect.”
In a recent episode, Lisa was late to the bus on the day of their flight out of Atlanta. When she finally arrived, the Real Housewives of Potomac star called her out – as Lisa seemingly refused to apologize. After their tense exchange, some castmates began to wonder if Lisa’s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costars were right about her lack of accountability.
“When you’re dealing with going to the airport, you really have to respect whatever time they tell you is take-off time,” said Robyn on her podcast with Gizelle, Reasonably Shady, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “You have to respect that time.”
“Period,” agreed Gizelle, who shared that if they didn’t make that flight, they would’ve had to take a bus for nine hours – because there was an “ice storm in Atlanta.”
“What they didn’t say [is that] we’re traveling with goo-gobs of people, number one. One two: it’s their gear,” said Gizelle. “We’re traveling with the crew. The amount of gear that they travel with that is required to do this show is unbelievable. So you cannot just roll up to the airport normal time, and we can’t just think about the seven of us, because we’re all traveling together. … It takes an hour for them to just check all that gear.”
Robyn then called Lisa out for being so “nonchalant” about it.
Gizelle explained that the cast wasn’t even filming that day, because it was a travel day – and the footage of her fight with Lisa was taken by a producer on his iPhone, “unbeknownst” to Gizelle or Lisa.
According to Gizelle, Vicki Gunvalson was also angry at Luann de Lesseps because she wasn’t on the bus, but Gizelle explained to her that Luann was waiting just outside of the bus.
“[Lisa didn’t know] that that was being filmed,” said Gizelle of their fight. “So that was her authentic moment, like ‘I’m not apologizing.'”
