Salley Carson opened up about her feelings for Austen Kroll on her shared podcast with Lala Kent.
Following rumors of a potential romance with Summer House star Kyle Cooke, 44, and after appearing to soft-launch a relationship with a tattooed mystery man, the 31-year-old Southern Charm star admitted that Austen, 39, made her happy while noting that she got jealous of the other women in his life.
“My soul is the happiest when I’m with him. It’s just easy,” Salley admitted on the September 16 episode of Sex Unlocked, via Vanderpod Recaps on Threads.
According to Salley, she and Austen did hook up “once … [But] that one didn’t count.” And, oftentimes, Austen links up with other women and makes out in front of her.
Although Salley confessed that Austen’s moves with women made her jealous, she noted that Austen also got jealous of the men she’d been with.
“That’s the problem,” she concluded.
Weeks ago, during another appearance, Salley shared her thoughts on whether Austen was ready to settle down.
“I feel like he doesn’t see it, but I see it for him. I just think, you know, I look at him, and I’ve said it before. I said it on the reunion. I think he’s going to make an incredible dad, and I think he’s going to be a really fun dad, and he’s going to be a great husband. He just has to get there. He’s not there yet,” Salley told SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio.
She then discussed her relationship with Kyle, saying that while they “see each other a lot,” they’re just friends” who are “sometimes flirty.”
“If he wants to call me out for guys, I’ll look at him like he’s crazy ‘cause I’m like, ‘I was with you the weekend of Fourth of July, and you left with a girl the day after?’ And I’m not mad about it, you know? He’s doing his thing,” she explained.
Salley also discussed Kyle on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, confirming they “never dated.”
“We were never exclusive or anything. We just had fun every time we were together. I mean, the whole internet wants us to date. I mean, we have really good chemistry, and we both love to have fun,” she revealed.
Southern Charm season 12 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
