Kandi Burruss got emotional discussing Todd Tucker‘s new reality series, ‘Til Divorce Do Us Part, and accompanying tour, during an interview on Tuesday.

As she also called out the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast’s “off-camera producing,” Kandi, 50, admitted that she was heartbroken about the ongoing teasers Todd, 52, has been dropping, one of which included claims of threesomes, defended her own show, I Do, I Did, I’m Done, and accused her ex-husband of using her to sell tickets.

“Every week is a new one. He keeps dropping [trailers],” Kandi shared on a recent episode of CNN’s Engagement Party.

While Kandi confessed that Todd’s show had “of course” been heartbreaking, she said she didn’t “want to be emotional about it,” and she noted that she had prepared herself for the interview in another room with the intent to remain stoic.

“Can I get a tissue? It’s very frustrating,” she explained.

Kandi then reacted to comparisons between Todd’s series and her one-woman show.

“I think the answer or the reply to it is, ‘Oh, well, she did her one-woman show.’ But the thing people don’t realize about the one-woman show is we took people’s phones, so nobody has footage of anything,” Kandi explained. “I purposely did it in intimate crowds, really small crowds. So if you Google footage, you’re not really seeing anything that I said about it. You would have to know somebody that went or was there to be a part of it to be like, ‘Oh, this was her reply.’”

Meanwhile, Kandi stated, Todd has been “dropping clips of the craziest stuff online for the world.”

“He’s trying to sell tickets so it’s, ‘Drag Kandi. Sell my tickets,’” she reasoned.

During a separate interview on the September 29 episode of Rickey Smiley on the Spot, Kandi spoke of her time on RHOA and the scenes her castmates attempted to fabricate.

“Some of them do that. I don’t do that,” she clarified. “I hate all that off-camera producing they be trying to do. For me, if it’s gonna be a conversation, let’s have a real — it’s called reality TV. It’s not called made-up TV. So for me, I’m not here for the fake.”

According to Kandi, she preferred to have on-camera conversations to avoid off-camera phoniness.

“If we’re gonna have a real conversation, I wanna do it on camera because I hate when people try to make up with me off-camera when you find out later they had all these little side bars where they were getting you left and right, but then they want to make up so you don’t really go hard on them when you get in the scene, so yeah, I just don’t like it,” she shared. “I just feel like, can we just talk about it and let it be real on camera? And if we gonna make up, we gonna make up anyway.”

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker were married from April 2014 until March 2026.
