Summer House star Bailey Taylor accused podcaster Dave Portnoy of copying her It Girl brand, calling it “embarrassing” as she slammed him as a “rip-off.”

A few years ago, Dave’s Barstool Sports changed their ‘Chicks’ page to ‘It Girl.’ But when Bailey accused him of copying her, Dave called her a delusional “piece of s**t,” and he suggested that Bailey felt entitled to the phrase ‘It Girl.’

In an October 5 TikTok, Bailey addressed certain fans who stood up for Dave.

“You all got mad at me two years ago and said that I claimed I invented the term It Girl,” she said. “I never claimed I invented the term It Girl. I claimed I invented a street-style series where we asked who the ultimate It Girl was to celebrities and talked about It Girl trends. I’ve been doing it for three years.”

“I have a podcast on iHeartRadio where we discuss It Girls. We have celebrities on, and we ask them who their ultimate It Girl is. I’ve been sitting on carpets for three years asking people who their ultimate It Girl is. And now Dave Portnoy’s It Girl is doing the exact same thing. The captions are an identical copy,” she said. “I told you guys he was copying me. I told you guys that his employees were watching my Instagram Stories before he changed the name of his page to It Girl.”

Bailey called Dave a “rip-off.”

“The captions are an identical copy. The entire thing is a rip-off. He’s a rip-off,” she said. “Literally everybody got mad at me, and he’s doing it again two years later. This is embarrassing.”

Back in July, Bailey addressed castmate Amanda Batula’s controversial romance with West Wilson.

“I was suspicious [before they announced it] because I had seen them the same day Jesse got suspicious. It was the brunch day. We all got suspicious,” she explained at the time on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. “That really threw me off because I was like, she was fully like hardcore kissing Kyle. She says they pecked, I was like, that’s not what I saw. … I was like, are they secretly back together? … [She] looked me dead in the eye and said nothing’s going on. … I did not know until they made the announcement.”
