Jeff Lewis revealed that he’s leaving SiriusXM’s Radio Andy if they don’t renew his contract before October 18. The Bravo star also shared that his employee Shane Douglas calls him “the male Vicki Gunvalson.”
For the last nine years, Jeff has been on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel. But it seems listeners may not be able to hear his show anymore if the radio service doesn’t work out a deal before October 18. Recently, Jeff started filming his new Bravo show, Still Flipping Out, a spinoff of Flipping Out.
On a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, via @sarah_from_texas_podcast_ on Instagram, Jeff hinted that he’s leaving SiriusXM if they don’t renew his contract by October 18.
Jeff suggested that SiriusXM “kept bring[ing] up” the idea of an “extension,” which Jeff turned down.
“I said, ‘There will be no extensions. So I will not be here on the 19th,'” Jeff recalled. “And then on the way out, I’m like, ‘I just want to remind you I will not be here on the 19th. … [But] I’m here all week. We can put this deal together. … [SiriusXM] is my first choice.”
Jeff then addressed what will happen if the deal doesn’t get worked out.
“I’m also gonna take a lot of f**king listeners,” he said. “I’m gonna take employees, too.”
On Page Six Radio, Jeff addressed his new Bravo show.
“I had a plan. My plan was to just do the [Bravo] show because it was a platform to bring people to radio,” he said. “But I really kind of enjoyed it. Well, no. [My chief of staff Shane] calls me the male Vicki Gunvalson, and Vicki’s a good friend of mine.”
Shane explained, “We love Vicki, but watching [Real Housewives] Ultimate Girls Trip is triggering for me because the entire time that we’re filming, Jeff was like, ‘I have a job! I can’t film right now. I’m going to my actual work. I’m not just doing this for TV. I’m not doing all this for fun. I have a job.'”
Jeff agreed, “It’s so true. I was Vicki.”
Still Flipping Out airs Mondays on Bravo. Jeff Lewis Live airs weekdays on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy.
