Lisa Vanderpump claims she never told Andy Cohen “no” in regard to an appearance on the recently aired season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.

As she also confirmed that the Vanderpump Rules cast was not qualified to run her new hotel, The Vanderpump Hotel, admitted she was “proud” of Ariana Madix‘s recent accomplishments, and revealed that she would “never” return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa, 66, said that while she wasn’t open to RHUGT, she didn’t actually discuss it.

“No, I never would [appear], and I was just told that Andy said that was the, when I said, ‘No,’ that stung the most. I didn’t even say ‘No.’ They must’ve said, ‘No,’ for me because I was opening the hotel or I was filming in Austria, Vanderpump Villa,” she explained to NBC’s Hollywood Reeltime.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Andy stated Lisa had turned down the offer for RHUGT.

“We wanted [Lisa Vanderpump] to come back for [RHUGT] just to make an appearance, and she said, ‘No,’ I think cuz she can’t stand [Kyle Richards] and [Dorit Kemsley], but that’s just me guessing,” Andy explained during the interview.

As for whether the Pump Rules cast could take over at The Vanderpump Hotel, Lisa said, “None of them are qualified to run it.”

“Nick Solomon, who is running it, is so qualified. Thank god, I have complete sanity there. But I love the energy they bring,” she continued. “Like [Natalie Maguire], you see the feel-good factor she brings. She’s a great bartender. Absolutely would I employ them in Vegas, but not to run it.”

Moving on to Ariana, 41, Lisa applauded the Pump Rules alum for how she recovered from Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 32.

“I have watched things that she’s done, and I’m really proud of her because I think when she was in that position, there were just kind of two ways she could go: She could have just retreated and never heard from her again. And I like the way she took the bull by the horns. I like that,” she declared. “I think that’s really important. It’s not how many times you’ve been knocked down; it’s how many times you get up. And I think she kind of showed them and then some.”

Meanwhile, on CBS Mornings, Lisa reflected on her start on RHOBH before shutting down the idea of a return.

“I remember Jennifer Stallone showing me this video she had of the New York housewives. And she said, ‘You’ve got to do this. It’s coming to Beverly Hills.’ And I was thinking, ‘I don’t know. They’re fighting all the time. I’m not sure about that.’ But anyway, I did it. And I loved so much of it,” Lisa admitted. “I can’t delegate the whole experience. It’s just when it got too contentious. I lost my brother, and I just said I was done. But I did do nine and a half years. That’s a long time.”

She then added that a return is “never gonna happen.”

“No. I’m so busy. I have a huge business and the charity; it all needs the love and attention,” she explained.
