Jackie Goldschneider Claims Marriage Is “Not At Risk At All” Despite Cheating Rumors, Refused to Allow Kids to Watch Last Season of RHONJ

During season 11 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice said Jackie Goldschneider’s husband Evan was having an affair.

There were also rumors about a potential divorce. Jackie and Evan have been married since 2006, and have four children together.

The star, however, informed In Touch that her “marriage is not at risk at all,” despite the recent rumors.

And though her relationship is “definitely” secure, she’s had to assure the children that she and Evan are ok.

“We both promise them that mommy and daddy love each other so much. I think that comforts them,” said Jackie. “But it’s the little things that they see when we’re not directly directing it toward them.”

She continued, “Like, when they see us kiss on the way out the door. They see us holding hands when we’re walking. Those little things, let them know that mommy and daddy truly love each other.”

The Bravo star refused to allow her kids to watch season 11 (because of the accusations), but she knew they would likely find out.

“We had to explain to them what they might hear, what happened on the show, and we had to assure them that none of it was true,” she explained. “I didn’t want them thinking anything about their father. I didn’t want anyone taking these rumors and running with it as a way of teasing the kids. I also didn’t want them to worry.”

In spite of Teresa’s accusations, Jackie wished her costar the best (regarding her recent engagement). “If [her fiancé Luis Ruelas] treats her well and truly his past is in the past, then I can only hope that they remain as in love as they are right now,” said Jackie.

She went on to say, “If by some chance they don’t, I’m sure the cast would be there for her regardless of what went down this season . . . I don’t get any joy out of anyone else’s unhappiness.”
