Melissa Gorga is responding to the leaked text exchange with Teresa Giudice.
According to Melissa, the leaked messages “prove” that Teresa didn’t respond until three weeks later, and she calls her sister-in-law’s attempts to fix the relationship “FAKE” and “self-serving.”
Melissa recently claimed she sent a peaceful text to Teresa following the dramatic Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion — and there was no reply until right before filming the next season. Following this allegation, the entire text exchange between the co-stars was leaked online, showing Teresa’s eventual attempts to make nice.
On her Instagram Stories, Melissa reacted to the message leak.
She first indicated that “someone” is “definitely spiraling” and needs to “‘prove’ herself working overtime.”
“BUT THIS ALL PROVES MY POINT EVEN MORE!!!” exclaimed Melissa. “She did not reply to the text messages I sent after we filmed the reunion!! CRICKETS!!!”
She then expressed, “It wasn’t until three weeks later, and after the reunion AIRED – she was getting all the backlash about how poorly she treated her brother and I – that THEN she felt the need to reach out and clean it up.”
The star claimed Teresa’s desire to “discuss our relationship” and fix it was “FAKE!”
“That was inauthentic and was self-serving. We wanted off the roller coaster. Point blank,” she continued. “Can’t say much more now, but if you continue to watch this season, it will make much more sense.”

She also spotlighted her message to Teresa in response to the lunch offer — which was made after Teresa watched the reunion and realized their families were going backward.
“Teresa, I texted you driving home from the reunion and you never answered back until now. It seems a little calculated to me that you actually have to watch the reunion and read comments to make yourself feel like you wanna fix the family again for the hundredth time. I feel like this text is about you and not really about us. Especially when we’re just about to go into filming again in two weeks,” wrote Melissa in the previous exchange.
“After all these years I’ve finally found a way to accept the way our relationship is. For our children I don’t wanna argue with you, let’s just leave it as is and be what we are,” she added.
“We are family and we should always respect that. No need to go to lunch. You drew the line in the sand with the wedding. You’ve said multiple times on interviews that we will never be friends. I agree with you. We will always be family and I will always wish you nothing but the best. See you soon.”
