A rep for Ariana Madix addressed why Meghan McCain was cropped out of the Vanderpump Rules star’s photo, which was taken at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last week. The 37-year-old has received major media attention since her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Raquel Leviss.
The sans-Meghan photo was posted on Ariana’s Instagram Stories as she tagged several people. However, when Meghan uploaded the same image, it was discovered that the conservative columnist was standing right there while the photo was taken. Fans have speculated that her removal from the photo was an intentional diss, sending a message of opposition to Meghan’s political views.

A rep for Ariana, however, denied there was any agenda, and they claimed Meghan’s elimination from the photo was “inadvertent.”
“I can tell you without a doubt that there is no agenda with this post whether political or otherwise,” said Ariana’s manager in an interview with Page Six. “Its just how the post came out.”
In Meghan’s own post, which was mysteriously ‘liked’ by Ariana herself, the former The View co-host wrote in the caption: “When Bravo meets The Beltway! ???????? ????.”
While speaking to Page Six, the columnist addressed the Ariana situation. “I had a wonderful time with Ariana, Lala and DailyMail.com,” she said. “I can’t believe I’m commenting on something so ridiculous.”
Ariana’s rep explained that the photos’ positions perhaps were why Meghan got cut, and they pointed out that Ariana’s photo was taken vertically while Meghan’s post was horizontal.
Later on, Ariana posted on her Instagram Stories to explain the “difference between a main feed and a zoomed IG story.” She also stated, “We all know how aspect ratios work.”
According to another insider who spoke to the outlet, “Everyone in DC was running over to get pic with Ariana and Lala and offering their support for her. They are famously taking over this political event.”
Sunny Hostin, Meghan’s former co-host, recently spoke on Watch What Happens Live, sharing her view that Meghan should join Real Housewives. Executive producer Andy Cohen concurred, adding, “She’d be a great ‘Housewife.’”
