Heather Dubrow doesn’t believe Shannon Beador‘s story about the faux car robbery they endured on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
After arriving at a tactical class arranged by Gretchen Rossi, 46, which began with the women facing a challenge regarding how they would react to a potential robbery, the legitimacy of which some caught on to sooner than others, Heather, 56, and Shannon, 61, reflected on the daunting moment.
“I’m telling you, Heather, it was not okay. It was not fun. I could not sleep,” Shannon began on the September 25 episode of the RHOC: After Show. “I was almost frozen because I wanted to say to the driver, ‘Drive!’ But I thought, ‘He’s frozen in fear. That’s a waste of a word.’ That’s how … I thought we were dead.”
After hearing her co-star’s recounting of the story, however, Heather interjected at her claims of shaking inside and going into a panic.
“I call bullsh*t. You knew,” she told Shannon, suggesting that her castmate was acting.
Heather also admitted that when it came to handling the situation in a rational way, had it been real, she wouldn’t have known what to do.
“I don’t know what I would’ve done. Thank God it wasn’t me,” she stated.
Continuing on about the ordeal, Shannon recalled growing suspicious of their driver.
“He said, ‘We’re gonna pull up to the door,’ and I said, ‘Why are the windows down. Can you put the windows up, please?’ … and then I thought, ‘Oh, we’re [at an] industrial building. They’re not gonna film us getting out of the car. So I guess it’s fine. Leave the window open,’” she shared.
According to Shannon, she truly feared for her life when the supposed robber approached her.
“He comes up with a bag and like a beer in it, and all of the sudden he was at my face. My heart was literally racing. I felt like the blood was leaving my body. I thought I was gonna pass out. I thought we were dead,” she admitted.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
