Alexis Bellino has disinvited Jennifer Pedranti from attending her upcoming wedding to John Janssen.
As the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum prepares to say, “I do,” to John, 62, who previously dated her ex-co-star, Shannon Beador, 61, she’s chosen to reevaluate her friendship with Jenn, 48, after sending her a save-the-date announcement earlier this year.
“Shortly after the save-the-dates were sent, Alexis underwent an unexpected emergency surgery,” a source revealed to Page Six on October 1. “Despite everything she was going through, Alexis reached out to Jenn before the procedure to share what was happening. Sadly, she never received a response or any check-in from Jenn during that time, which was personally difficult.”
Although Alexis is doing okay after her unidentified health scare, Jenn’s “lack of support” led her to “reevaluate their relationship.”
While Alexis “truly felt a strong bond” with Jenn and “wanted to include her in her special day” with John, she was forced to “make some tough decisions about who would be included” since she wants the wedding to be “intimate.”
After she decided to leave Jenn out of the event, Alexis reached out to Jenn via text and let her know that she had “felt a shift in their connection and sensed some distance.” She then told her former co-star that it “may not be the right time” for her to come to the wedding.
“Right now, Alexis is focused on her health, her happiness and the love she’s building with John,” the insider explained. “She’s grateful for the people who have shown up for her and is looking forward to celebrating surrounded by those who have been by her side.”
As for how she feels about Jenn today, the source went on to share that Alexis believes Jenn “is a good person and wishes her nothing but the best.”
“She remains hopeful that they can reconnect in the future; the door is always open,” the insider added.
In response to the disinvite, Jenn told Page Six, “I respect Alexis’ decision and wish nothing but the best for her and John.”
